🐾 Stray Dog Alert - REUNITED 🩵🐾

We have had a Stray Dog brought into the practice this afternoon, Although they are microchipped, the contact details are sadly not up to date🥲

They were found on Worksop Road heading towards Creswell.

If you are missing your furry friend, please get in contact with us 📞

* Proof of ownership will be required due to the microchip details not being up to date *

Out Of Hours 📞

With our books fully open again, we thought it was a good time to chat Out Of Hours 🌒
We know how stressful it is when your pet isn’t well and it’s the weekend or late at night. That’s why we are committed to being there for you at our Staveley branch ❤️
We do this on top of our normal day time work schedules 😴
The vets do not stay at the practice overnight 🛌🏼 They are at home and come in when necessary 🏡
Costs for call outs are increased to cover for unsociable hours ⏰

If you call and later feel your pet no longer needs to be seen, please let us know straight away 📞 This prevents our vet making an unnecessary trip 🚗

Please only call us if it's a genuine emergency so we can always be ready to help when needed ☎️

🌟FOUND CAT🌟

Last Wednesday (6th August) we had a cat handed in to us who had been involved in a road traffic accident. The cat is 7 years old, black and white, male and neutered. He has a microchip but we are struggling to contact the owners. He is registered to an address in the Mansfield Woodhouse area, approximately 8 minutes from Ravensdale Vets. The cat is doing well but we are desperately trying to reunite him with his owners! ❤️ Please contact the practice or Ravensdale vets if you believe this could be your cat; his name and proof of ownership will be required 🐱

Our dog boosters are currently made up of 2 different components; DHP and Lepto2 💉
Lepto2 has been *discontinued*.
Due to this change we will now be switching to Lepto4 which covers for 2 extra strains of Lepto.
There is no alternative vaccine for dogs 🙅🏻‍♀️.

What this means for your dog, for their next booster ONLY:
💉 Adult boosters - must come back for a 2nd injection EXACTLY 4 weeks from the time of the 1st
🐕 Puppies - same as above
+ If they have already had a 1st injection of Lepto2, they will need a 3rd injection EXACTLY 4 weeks after their second

After they have had the 'top-up', they will go back to 1 injection per year

Please bear this timescale in mind when booking your 1st appointment and be sure you have availability exactly 4 weeks later ⏰

Our wonderful student nurse, Georgie has only gone and qualified!!!! 🥳 She has overcome everything life has thrown at her and can finally call herself an absolutely incredible RVN!! 🥳 We are beyond proud of her ❤️ congratulations Georgie!!⭐🥳🍾🥂

We have had a Tan & Cream Long-haired Terrier handed into the practice today.

They were found on Staveley High Street.

We have had some particularly cute patients recently...the best part of our job are the fluffy cuddles we receive! 🥰
Sochu was very much part of this! What a smooshy baby! And look at those beans 🫘🐾
