📣 Committee Member Announcement 📣

We’re excited to announce our Club Captain for 2025/26 - Emily Brown

This will be Emily’s second year as Captain and her fourth year in the club. Over the years, she’s competed with our Dev 1 team and more recently, our BUCS team. As she heads into her final year at Chester, Emily brings loads of experience with both UOC Equestrian and student life in general.

Emily is such a kind, fun, and supportive member of the team, and we’re so lucky to have her leading the club again this year!

We’re excited to announce our Vice Captain for 2025/26 - Polly Farrelly

This will be Polly’s first year on our committee and her second year in the society. She made a fantastic impact last year as part of our BUCS team, and we’re so excited to have her back!

Polly brings a supportive, positive energy to everything she does, and we’re looking forward to seeing all the incredible things she’ll contribute in the year

We’re excited to announce our second Social Secretary’s for 2025/26 - Meg Breeze

From socials to training, Meg has consistently brightened our days with her infectious smile and sense of humor! This will be Meg’s first year on the committee and her second year in the society. From competing with our Dev 1 team to showing up in fabulous outfits for our Wednesday socials, Meg is a brilliant member of our team.

We can’t wait to see all the fun and wacky socials Meg has planned. From creative themes to costume competitions, we’re sure that Emma and Meg’s socials will make this year one to remember!

We’re excited to announce be one of our Social Secretary’s for 2025/26 - Emma Hughes !

Going into her second year in the society and first year on the committee Emma has been the life of many a Wednesday social. Emma rode in our lesson groups last year and did a brilliant job facing off against our teams at our end of year interclub competition.

From sober socials to our regular Wednesday night we can’t see what amazing things Emma has planned!

Hi everyone! I’m Jess, and I’ll be running all of our social media this year. It’s my second year in the society but my first on the committee — and I’m so excited to share all the fun and updates from our equestrian adventures!

We’re excited to announce our Charity officer for 2025/26 - Rachel Shilcock

We’re excited to welcome Rachel to the committee for the first time as she enters her second year with the club. Last year, Rachel did an amazing job riding for our BUCS team and playing a key role in many of our charity events, including our bake sale and sunrise Snowdon walk.

Rachel is a kind, enthusiastic, and supportive member of our team, and we’re thrilled to see all the incredible charity events she has in store for the year ahead!
