💉 National Microchipping Month 💉

Microchipping isn’t just a good idea — it’s one of the most important ways to protect your pet for life.

A microchip gives your pet a permanent form of identification that can’t fall off, fade or be removed, helping reunite families quickly and safely if the unthinkable happens.

In the UK, it’s also the law:

- All dogs must be microchipped

- All cats must be microchipped by 10 June 2024

Failing to comply can result in a £500 fine, but more importantly, it puts your pet at risk of not being found if they go missing.

From health checks to nail trims, dental care to diet advice, our team loves giving these little ones the same gold‑standard care as every other patient who hops, squeaks or scurries through our doors.

🩵 Meet Abbie 🩵

" Hello I’m Abbie! I’ve been part of Arvonia for almost a year now and have completed a large part of my training here as a student.

I find so much reward in being able to help animals. Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a passion for caring for animals and making sure they’re happy and healthy.

I really enjoy dentals and getting stuck in with these. I’m very excited to continue learning about preventative measures and helping/advising owners.

Outside of work, I love riding my motorbike. The best part though is coming home to my two cats for lots of cuddles🐈‍⬛🐈 "

" Hello, I’m Zoe! I’ve been part of the Arvonia team for the past 3 years. I started here as an Assistant and have recently qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

I absolutely love being a nurse and caring for people’s pets. I always strive to treat every patient as if they were my own and ensure they receive the highest standard of care possible.

My main interests are patient care and CT imaging, and I’m excited to continue developing my skills in these areas as part of the Arvonia team.

In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs and sitting in the garden with my chickens! "
