Is your feline friend in need of a change of food? Switching their food should be done gradually, as switching all at once can upset their stomach. 🐱🐾

When changing to a new food, keep an eye on your cat’s behaviour, appetite, and litter box habits. If you have any concerns, we are here to help and happy to advise on making sure you're on the right track. 🥰

🌈 Deceased Cat Found – Springfield Area

Sadly, a deceased female tabby cat was handed in to us today. She appears to be elderly.

She is microchipped, but unfortunately the details on the chip are not up to date.

She was found in the car park at the Springfield Centre, Welch Road.

If you believe she may be your cat, or you have any information that could help us locate her owner, please get in touch.

Meet 9 week old Buddy and Narla, two beautiful dachshund miniature cross yorkshire terriers! They are brother and sister, and came in to see us for their 1st vaccinations and health checks. 💉🐾

In this photo, you can see Clare, one of our vets, performing an ultrasound last week. 🐱🐾

Ultrasounds are non-invasive, pain-free, and an invaluable tool for diagnosing a wide range of conditions. We can use ultrasound to examine the shape and size of internal structures and even watch blood flowing through the blood vessels. It’s painless and usually only requires some hair to be clipped away to allow the probe to rest on the skin. 👩‍⚕️

On 23rd October, our lovely Vet Nurse Emma and Vet Clare hosted a Firework Information Evening to help pet owners support their furry friends during firework season. 🐾

They shared lots of great tips on how to help pets feel calm and safe, from enrichment activities and toys to medications that can make a big difference. 💕

Ruby here is having treatment for her baby canine teeth 🦷 Her lower canine teeth were not coming through in quite the right place and touching the roof of her mouth causing little holes which can be painful ☹️

She had surgery to have those teeth removed, which can also allow space for her adult canines to come through in the right position.

She was a cutie and had lots of cuddles all day 😍🥰
