A little about us:
We are a friendly, supportive small animal practice in Cheltenham. Our practice is run by local owner and vet, Clare Rogers, a Liverpool Graduate, who has taken the practice from strength to strength. By joining us, you would be part of a friendly, supportive team of 5 vets, 3 full time RVN's, 2 part time RVNs and 3 receptionists, who enjoy working together to achieve high standards of care for patients and clients.
Our Nurses are responsible for much more than the average Nurse position; our role is excitingly varied and includes shift rotations through theatre, prep, clinics, consults and wards.
Team work is our speciality! We are proud of our reputation locally as an excellent veterinary practice (Friendly and helpful right from the moment you enter the reception up to seeing the vet and any follow-ups.) and we know passion for animal welfare and strong teamwork is what has got us here.
CPD is actively encouraged and paid for, and we would be happy to support any areas of special interest. We also have great benefits including 20% off at Pets at Home.
Our practice boasts state of the art first opinion equipment including; Biochemistry, Electrolyte and Haematology blood analysers, CR radiography, Dental radiography, Ultrasound, Doppler and Oscillometric blood pressure monitoring, ECG, heated anaesthetic circuits, Bair hugger, Sevofluorane and Isofluorane, separate cat, dog and isolation wards and a dedicated Nurse consult room.
About You:
You will be an RVN with some experience in general practice, who is happy working in a team and communicating with our lovely, loyal clients. You will be passionate about animal welfare and have a great sense of drive within your role of Registered Veterinary Nurse.
