Good evening, everyone ☺️

I know we've been super quiet and slightly unresponsive to messages, but we have very good reason for that!

As you all know, we took a massive leap and moved from our old unit into 2 big units. Until we moved and started getting set up, we realised we never took into account the effects on the temperatures we would have with the new unit being a metal style building. So to solve this we invested alot into plaster boarding and insulating the hole unit, which we carried out ourselves around our own jobs, we are finally seeing results now this is finished. Temperatures are holding, and the unit is finally staying warm and looking a lot better! We are in the final days of finishing painting and re setting up everyone's enclosures. The open day is finally in sight after a lot of stress and money, and re-thinking of how to make this all come together.

Anyone who has visited us before or knows us personally, knows this is all self funded and is for one reason only, and that is for the animals! With that in mind, we have an amazon wish list if any ones interested in helping, please drop us a message, and we can forward what is left for the animals to purchase. (From new water bowls to decor or lighting, every little helps)

We are also thinking of setting up an adoption scheme for our rescues . Something along the lines of monthly updates, photos, visits, and things like that for a small monthly fee to help towards the care for that animal. Please let us know your thoughts on this.

We can not wait for people to finally be able to come back down to visit, learn and see all of our amazing hard work we have put in for these beautiful animals we have in our care 😀

Any questions or queries please direct message us and we will respond as soon as we can.

I shall attach some videos of the current stages below.

Thank you for your patience, we are so close to the final outcome🙏❤️⏳️

Kind regards Brad, Leah and all the animals ✨️🫶

🦎 Happy National Iguana Day from me & Liberty! 🗽💙

Some people have dogs. Some have cats.
Me? I’ve got a blue iguana with a climbing obsession and a biting hobby 😂
Liberty isn’t just a pretty face, she’s a whole personality. She’s stubborn, curious, and totally herself. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Whether she’s scaling me and furniture like it’s her personal jungle gym or giving me a “love nibble” when I’m not paying attention, life with her is never boring.
Did you know Iguanas can grow over 5 feet long and live up to 20 years? That's a long time to dodge tiny lizard teeth 🦖💚

Liberty come to us from a lovely women who was left with her after a marital breakdown, she was kept in the wrong size and wrong style of viv but the lady knew that liberty needed better so she hunted us down. I went to meet liberty and she run in fear behind the sofa I yoink her mid run from that moment we’ve bonded and become best mates ever since

Hey everyone!
I firstly want to start by apologising for the lack of posts and updates. We have had so much going on from fund raising, lots of rescues coming in and just general life problems. Taking care of the animals has and will allways come first so socials have been on a hold but we are back! With lots of news and animals to tell and show you all 👀
Here's our big boy Bruce the burmese coming to say hello today 👋🏻

𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲 is our little leaping lizard with a big personality! He’s a 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗼 (𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙪𝙨 𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙨), a species native to the lush forests of southern New Caledonia. These geckos were once thought to be extinct until they were rediscovered in 1994 - now they’re one of the most popular pet geckos around, and Octane shows exactly why! Being a fan favourite amongst most of our visitors.

He loves jumping from branch to branch, exploring every corner of his habitat, and getting a refreshing misting (which he happily drinks right off the leaves). With his sticky toe pads and prehensile tail, he’s a natural climber and always on the move.

Quick Facts about Crested Geckos:
• Native Range: Southern New Caledonia
• Size: Around 8 inches long, including tail
• Diet: Omnivorous - fruits, nectar, and insects and insect and fruit pastes
• Cool Feature: They can lick their own eyeballs to keep them clean!
• Fun Fact: They don’t have eyelids—but they the most striking eyelashes which is why they are sometimes called eyelash gecko!

Octane’s energy and charm make him a crowd favorite, and he’s always ready to show off his climbing and jumping skills!

Thank you to everyone that’s supported us so far it means a massive amount, not just to me but to the animals future. This will enable us to continue and carry on raising awareness on keeping and the animals we have in our care.

Things are looking up and we’ve have a few generous offers to help us grow.
Better and bigger, helping more animals and more people.

We are nearly hitting our target.
So keep sharing the news article and the gofundme
Hopefully it won’t be long until we are there and can get all donors over to show them first hand what they have help us achieve.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘄𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻, 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙖 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙩𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙮𝙣𝙚𝙞

Known for their bold black and yellow pattern and a bit of a spicy personality. Chewy came to us after her previous owners struggled with her behavior. She was known to bite frequently and wasn’t considered “handleable.” But sometimes, it just takes the right environment and approach.

Since joining us a year ago, Chewy hasn’t bitten once. With consistent, respectful handling and proper husbandry, she’s become a confident ambassador snake who’s even been handled by others without issue!

Fast facts about Jungle Carpet Pythons:
• Native to northeastern Queensland, Australia.
• While all Carpet Pythons are considered semi-arboreal, Jungle Carpet Pythons in particular tend to spend more time in the trees than other subspecies.
• Like all our snake they are non-venomous constrictors that rely on muscle power to subdue prey.
• Can grow up to 6–8 feet long, though females like Chewy tend to be larger than males.
• Known for their striking color contrast and iridescent scales.
• Intelligent and curious snakes that benefit from enrichment and interaction.

Chewy proves that even a misunderstood snake can thrive with patience, education, and care.
