As small animal Veterinary Nurses, we are often asked what we actually do in clinic 🐾
The truth? We do a lot more than people realise.
We monitor your pets during anaesthetics and surgery.
We care for them when they’re hospitalised.
We run blood tests and diagnostics.
We place IV catheters and can administer medications.
We carry out checks on patients pre operatively.
We can carry out dental procedures.
We support in emergencies.
We comfort nervous patients.
We run reception, acting as telephone triage nurses and booking appointments with the vets and for surgeries.
We advocate for their welfare.
And we support you just as much as we support them.

We also run a variety of nurse consults, available most days at varied times to accommodate owners needs.
These appointments give us time to really focus on preventative care and ongoing support.
Our nurse consults include:
• Weight management clinics
• Post-op checks & wound checks
• Suture removals
• Puppy & kitten advice
• Senior pet clinics
• Nail clips
• Dental care advice
• Parasite prevention guidance
• Mobility & arthritis support

They’re such a lovely way to build relationships with both pets and their owners — and to keep your pets happy and healthy long term 🐶🐱
If you’d like to book in for a nurse consult, please call the clinic and our team will be happy to arrange an appointment 📞

🐾 Meet Tom and 🐾
Tom comes to us every Tuesday to see patients for treatments such as treadmill hydrotherapy, physio and laser therapy.
The aim of physio therapy is to help build and increase muscle and joint mobility. This can help in the reduction of pain and increases your pets wellbeing. It can be highly beneficial to your pets everyday life.
Tom saw the super handsome Enzo today for some physio on his shoulders and as you can see Enzo loved his treatment.
If you’d like more information on the services Tom can offer then please contact him on 07864761569 or [email protected]
