The Sun has gone in (THANK GOD) but I've got a blazing option for one lucky person as the heat clearly got to me the other week and some wonky stitching means it's failed my QC.

BUT if anyone would like to own this beautiful, fully functional dark havana padded browband that's marginally under full size at 15.75" (it was a made to measure piece) for just ยฃ15 instead of the usual ยฃ25.00 then jump onboard.

You can see the slightly wonky stitching in the second image, but the first image gives you more idea how it looks overall - look to the lower left side.

When did soft leather become the definition of quality? ๐Ÿง

After more than 30 years working with leather and horses, I've learnt one thing: the way leather feels in your hand doesnโ€™t always tell the whole story.

Soft leather is understandably appealing, I get that. It looks beautiful and gives that immediate impression of quality.

In fact, some leather that feels incredibly soft from the very first use can be a sign of a lower quality hide or a leather that has been heavily processed to create that supple feel. You asked - I've delivered.

I've been inundated in recent times for a top quality soft flexi rubber rein but with the addition of leather bars/stoppers to assist with overall rein contact/grip etc.

We know these are super popular at the moment and, as ever, there are many options out there on the market, but I felt that given the number of times I am repairing reins, or asked the cost to repair, or being asked about making them entirely, I've given in and added them to my line.

That and the wife has been asking and asking and asking for them and like "Cobblers children" I've made her wait ๐Ÿคฃ

They are now available to order - opt for either the Black rubber or Brown. Actual leather colours the usual Black/Dark Havana/Australian Nut or Tan.

2 outings in one post! Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre was the destination yesterday and the Sunday before for 2 very nice rounds of show jumping. And a 3rd place both times. Otis always finds KSEC a bit spooky so good to get him there 2 weeks in a row.
