This week I dropped off some Fish to Lewis in Caerphilly, and while I was there, I thought I would share this little video because we are so pleased with the transformation of his aquarium!

Good morning everybody.

It’s been been a busy week here at Mikeys Aquatic Services.

We started the week at Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales !

Carried out some regular pond maintenace for our customer Mike in Sully.

Continued with the transformation of a beautiful cichlid aquarium for our new customer Lewis in caerphilly

We visited Sue in porthkerry to look after her 8ft community aquarium.

We went to Spoltt to look after a fish room for our regular customers and Tracie and wendy

Next week will be another busy one quoting for the last few pond jobs of the year and meeting a potential new business customers for an ongoing maintenace package one at a barbers and the other in an office !

Good morning everybody.

We visited Lucy in Riverside this week for some regular maintenance.

The addition of some plants really complete the aquarium.

We have looked after Lucys aquarium for a few years now and its always a pleasure to visit, especially as she provides such good cofffee !

Preparation for a big Pond job tomorrow!

Josh and I will be up early and working hard to transform this beautiful pond for our new customers in Ponthir Newport.

The koi in this pond are big so it is important to make sure that the process goes smoothly !

Its the beginning of a new working week and that means one thing Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales aquarium!

What a way to start the week keeping this beautiful aquarium up to the highest of standards, and getting to chat to all the staff and families along the way, thats why I have the best job ever !

Good morning everybody.

Yesterday we visited a new customer named Lewis.

He had contacted Mikeys Aquatic Services seeking some guidance and possible maintenance for this beautiful aquarium.

When we met Lewis for our initial consultation it was obvious that the aquarium had everything it needed to look amazing, but it just needed a little bit of organisational structure.

Lewis kindly gave us the opportunity to give his aquarium a restructure and this was the end result!

We have now been booked in for regular maintenance for not this but a second aquarium that he would like converted to a marine eco system, so keep an eye on the page for progress photos of that aquarium in the near future !

Good morning everybody.

Yesterday we took a trip to Porthkerry to visit one of our regular customers named Sue, she was one of our first customers and we are very grateful!

First took on her aquarium there was a lot of work involved to get it back to the standard you can see today.

Here are some of the tasks that we have completed since after this aquarium.

Reconditioned the FX6 external filter with a new motor system✔️

Upgraded lighting system✔️

Restocked aquarium with suitable fish ✔️

Regular deep clean on a fortnightly basis ✔️

Full spectrum water testing each visit ✔️

Deep algae and substrate cleaning ✔️
