Ted's back for one of his regular student grooms! He's a familiar face at the school and is always a pleasure to work with thanks to his calm nature and impeccable manners. 🐾

Perfect timing too, with temperatures set to soar over the next few days. A good de-shed helps remove loose coat and can keep dogs feeling more comfortable during the warmer weather.

Don't forget, our salon is fully air-conditioned with two air con units, helping keep our furry visitors cool, comfortable and relaxed while they enjoy a little pamper. ❄️🐶

Ted enjoyed a full groom with one of our students, helping them gain valuable hands-on experience under supervision. Dogs like Ted are worth their weight in gold when it comes to training future groomers.

An absolute superstar as always, and today's groom was completed by Ellie 💚

At Mucky Pups Dog Grooming School, our induction sessions are designed to give students the best possible start ✂️🐾

We cover everything in depth, including handling, health checking, bathing, prepping, drying, fluff drying, brushing & combing correctly using the right tools & products for each coat type 🫧

Every step is explained thoroughly through written work, tutor demonstrations & hands-on practice. Our tutors will first show you how to complete each stage correctly, then you’ll get the opportunity to carry it out yourself — meaning you’ll be practical, hands-on & building confidence from your very first day 🐶✨

From day 2, students begin carrying out each step from start to finish themselves with tutor guidance & support throughout, helping build confidence, independence & real salon experience from the very beginning 💚

Our school also gives students the opportunity to work with a wide range of breeds, coat types & styling techniques, helping you gain valuable experience handling different dogs & preparing you for real salon work 🐩✂️
