🐾💉 Merlin’s in for his second vaccination! 💉🐾

Just look at this adorable little face! 😍 Merlin came in for his second puppy vaccination and was an absolute superstar throughout his visit. ⭐️ Here he is having some cuddles after with nurse Nikki and some well deserved treats!

He’s growing into such a handsome boy and was far more interested in all the fuss and cuddles than his little injection! 🥹🐶💕

Well done, Merlin — you’re officially another step closer to being able to explore the big wide world! 🌳🐾✨

How adorable is little Sooty? 😍

Sooty visited our lovely Head Nurse Nikki recently for his second vaccination, and was an absolute superstar from start to finish! 🌟 Brave, full of cuddles, and with plenty of tail wags, Sooty took everything in his stride.

With the second vaccine now on board, Sooty is one step closer to exploring the big wide world safely. We can’t wait to see all the adventures that lie ahead! 🐶🌳

Well done, Sooty – we think you’ve definitely earned a few treats and lots of fuss this weekend! 🦴💚

Bruce is showing us all how to celebrate Saturday

This handsome kitten came to see us after feeling a little bunged up and needed an e***a to help relieve his constipation. We’re pleased to say he’s feeling much more comfortable now and is back to being his cheeky, happy self.

Double the kittens, double the cuteness! 🐾

Kyle came in today for his castration, while his best friend and sister Maple was here for her spay. 💙💗 The pair were quite happy sharing a kennel together while they waited for their procedures.

Maple’s story gave us all a little smile… she was originally called Kevin until it turned out “he” was actually a she! 😹 Safe to say Kevin’s identity had a little update, and Maple suits her perfectly! 🌿

Both kittens were absolute superstars throughout the day and have been spoiled with plenty of cuddles and TLC from the team. We wish Kyle and Maple a speedy recovery and many more adventures together! 🐱💕

Poor Frankie had quite the eventful day! 💕

The gorgeous Frankie came in to see us for her routine spay, but while admitting her, her owner mentioned that she’d been sneezing a lot recently. 🤧

As Frankie was going to be under a general anaesthetic for her procedure, our vet decided it was the perfect opportunity to have a good look up her nose… and sure enough, the culprit was hiding there – a grass seed! 🌾👃

Grass seeds can easily work their way into a dog’s nose during walks, causing persistent sneezing and irritation. If left, they can travel deeper and lead to more serious problems, so it’s always worth getting your pet checked if they suddenly starts sneezing excessively after being out in long grass.

The grass seed was carefully removed after her spay surgery. She recovered brilliantly and here she is enjoying a post-op toilet break in the garden 🥰

We’re so pleased Frankie is feeling much more comfortable. Wishing her a smooth recovery from her spay and many more happy, sneeze-free adventures! ❤️🐾

Today we would like to introduce you to Skye.
Skye visited us for her 2nd vaccination.
She is having some cuddles with Angie our amazing receptionist.
Looking forward to watching Skye grow up. We will be seeing her monthly for weight checks for her flea and worm treatment

Poor Jules had a bit of a rough day after accidentally getting his tail caught in a door. 💔🐾 Unfortunately, the injury was so severe that the best option was to amputate part of his tail.

The good news is that Jules came through his surgery brilliantly and is already on the road to recovery! ❤️ He has been enjoying lots of love, fuss, and cuddles from our team, who made sure he was as comfortable as possible during his stay.

We’re wishing this brave boy a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him back to his happy, tail-wagging self (even if it’s a little shorter now! 🥰)

Myrtle visited us for her annual booster, helping to keep her protected and healthy for another year.

🐶 Considering chemical castration for your dog?

Chemical castration is a temporary, non-surgical alternative to neutering. A small implant is placed under the skin, which gradually reduces testosterone levels and can help with certain hormone-related behaviours, while also preventing fertility for a period of time.

It can be a great option if you’re:
• Unsure whether to proceed with permanent neutering.
• Wanting to see how your dog responds to lower testosterone levels first.
• Looking for a non-surgical alternative.

The implant is quick to administer during an appointment, and most dogs tolerate it very well.

Every dog is different, so our team is happy to discuss whether chemical castration is the right choice for your pet and answer any questions you may have.
