Last month we shared Benji’s story, and at that point, even being able to gently stroke him felt like a huge milestone.
Since then, he’s been coming to see us every couple of weeks after struggling in other grooming environments and being turned away elsewhere. Rather than rushing him, we focused on building trust at his pace — inviting him in just to spend time with us, settle in the space, and learn that he was safe.

Fast forward to today, and what a transformation. Sophie’s patience, consistency, and calm approach paid off in the most incredible way — Benji was able to be fully groomed from start to finish. Calm, relaxed, and trusting throughout.

We’re still very much on this journey with him, and there’s more work to do, but days like today are exactly why we do what we do. It’s not just about grooming — it’s about rebuilding confidence, one visit at a time, until dogs like Benji can feel safe again. 💕

Peppin had his summer makeover today and is looking absolutely lovely! ☀️🐾

He had a shorter cut to help keep him cool in the warmer weather, and he looks so smart and well-groomed. A big thank you to Sydney for doing such a wonderful job – Peppin looks fantastic! ❤️

With the warmer weather, we’re making sure our walks are done very early in the morning to keep everyone safe and comfortable. We’re travelling in an air-conditioned van, carrying plenty of water, and have a paddling pool ready to help keep the dogs cool.

Please keep your dogs safe in the heat. If you feel you need to cancel a walk, please don’t hesitate — Serena will be happy to provide drop-in home visits instead.
