Bandit has been for a little stroll now the rain has finally stopped ☁️🐐

He’s been saying hello to the donkeys, the big goats, and some of the other animals around the smallholding again. He’s very excited that he’s getting big enough to go in with them properly now… not long to wait! 💛

He’s growing in confidence every day and loves being part of all the action here at Pennywort Mill 🐾🌿

Today we paid another lovely visit. This time it was to Addison Park Residential Home with our miniature donkeys, Button and Mimi 🫏💛

There were plenty of smiles, cuddles and happy moments shared with residents and staff alike. It’s always so special to see the joy these gentle little donkeys bring wherever they go.

Today we visited another care home with Button and Mimi, and what a special day it turned out to be. From the moment they arrived, their gentle presence lit up the room. They brought with them not just wagging tails and soft cuddles, but an abundance of warmth, comfort, and joy.

Residents’ faces brightened as Button and Mimi made their rounds, offering affection, companionship, and plenty of heart-melting moments. There were smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears as connections were made in the simplest, most meaningful ways.

It’s amazing how much love can be shared in such small gestures - a nuzzle, a paw, a quiet moment together. Today was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness and the joy that animals can bring into people’s lives.

There’s something truly special about time spent with animals 💚

We recently welcomed a lovely family to Pennywort Mill for one of our exclusive animal encounters, and it was such a heartwarming visit. Some of the children have SEN requirements and the feedback afterwards was incredibly touching. They were visibly more relaxed after spending time here, engaging with the animals and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful calm, connection, and nature can be.

Our animal encounters are all about creating a gentle, personal experience where children and families can slow down, feel at ease, and make special memories together.
