Hi everyone just a quick, friendly reminder about fees for no shows and cancellations with less then 24 hours notice.
Over the last couple of weeks I have had several people not turn up for their appointments. I appreciate that it is the summer holidays and life is very busy for everyone this time of year. I also appreciate that sometimes unexpected things happen in life that we can’t always help and therefore people sometimes forget appointments. I try to be as understanding as possible in those circumstances and I really truly appreciate the clients who do call me or return my messages when the unexpected happens 😊. However I’ve had several no-shows with no explanation and no contact when I try to reach those clients. As a small, young, independent business offering only 1:1 appointments, this is my only source of income and several no-shows are a problem, particularly when I work hard to keep my costs down so grooming is as affordable as possible for my all in these difficult times. No-shows and late cancellations mean it’s too late for me to offer up that appointment to someone who is actually wanting an appointment with me, and this directly impacts my own income. Please, if you know you cannot make your appointment or need to re-arrange for any reason, please let me know as soon as you possibly can.
Sadly because it’s happening too often, I am now having to enforce a fee charge for anyone who doesn’t show up for their appointment or cancels with less then 24 hours notice, unless through unavoidable circumstances, at a cost of 50% of the groom. So please do keep your appointments or be in touch to rearrange.
I very much appreciate all of you because without any of you my business wouldn’t have grown to what is has today, and for that I’m so thankful! But in order to keep going I need people to turn up for their dogs appointment. Thank you 😊 💕🐾💕
