So that's all our ExcaliburDax Dachshunds Breeding & Fertility pups gone off to their new homes..... except little Ernie who is going to be staying with us for a few weeks whilst his owners have their holiday.

As such, he's been moved downstairs with the dachshund boys, has his own crate and bed setup and will spend the next few weeks as part of our pack.

I will say it was a rather wet introduction to the outside world as the weather today has been terrible. None the less he went out for toilet time and playtime with all the others with a gentle introduction through a pen. Once settled, he was out to meet everyone properly and as usual, Havok went all paternal and just had to say hi.

I've said it before but damn, is he good with the little guys.

Havoks pretty proud of his stick collection. I think the last pic says it all though after I told him I was going to take them away if he didnt move ! 🤣

And training jackets ! I've still got my original Julius K9. It's not old...... it's got character ! (and the smell attracts dogs for miles !! 🤣)

So it's the 1st of April and our very own April fool turns 10 today.

He's come a long way since I first met him at the RSPCA centre in bath where he had somewhat of a reputation (and not a good one) and whilst our resident goofball may now be into double digits, he's more than capable of giving Havok a run for his money.

Happy birthday Beastie, don't ever grow up.

We've had some lovely reviews of our ExcaliburDax Dachshunds Breeding & Fertility practices over the time we've been breeding the little guys but this one literally made our week. So much so, that i just had to share.

It really makes a difference knowing that the care, work and effort that goes into our pups and our planned breeding not only works in creating balanced healthy dogs, but is appreciated by the new owners.

Also thanks to Tarka line Bistro, for accommodating both us and some squeaky puppies for early socialisation purposes.

Havok likes to be involved in anything we do outdoors.... especially when I'm taking down trees etc.

His idea of helping clear up needs some work though. At least he didn't pinch this one off the bonfire !!!
