My favourite part of my interactions with dogs is allowing autonomy whenever possible.

“Providing dogs with autonomy, such as letting them choose between options or explore at their own pace, can improve their confidence, reduce stress, and strengthen their bond with their owners”

I’m always interested in how dogs respond and it gives me lots to think about. I view all dog behaviour as communication. The more cue’s we teach our dogs the more autonomy we can give them. I will try and film some examples of dogs giving me permission and making choices 🐾🐕❤️
