From our first meeting in 2022, when Zola was just a little fluff ball, to today, her final haircut with me before heading off with her amazing humans to start a new chapter elsewhere. Thank you, Zola, for being the sweetest soul all these years. I’ll miss you ♥️ 🐾

🗓️ Appointment Update! 🗓️

Time is flying, and my calendar’s filling up fast! To help you plan ahead, here’s a quick overview of my availability for the rest of the year. If you haven’t booked yet, I’d recommend securing your slots soon!

☀️ July – Fully booked.

🏖️ August – Just 8 appointments remaining.

🍁 September – Closed from the 11th to the end of the month. Only 2 slots available before the break.

👻 October – Closed from the 1st to the 6th. Plenty of availability after that!

🎇 November – Quiet month with lots of openings.

🎄 December – Booking up quickly! Only a few appointments left in the week leading up to Christmas. Closed from the 24th through New Year.

Friendly Reminder for All Clients! 🐾

⏰ Your appointment time is when your dogs grooming session starts. Please try not to arrive too early unless we’ve agreed on it beforehand.

🐶 A few minutes early is totally fine, but arriving more than 15 minutes ahead can disrupt my schedule and may unsettle the dogs already in the salon. And if you’re the first appointment of the day, I might not even be there yet! 🚘

🗓️ I work on a tight schedule to give every dog the care and attention they deserve. Early arrivals without notice can make it tricky to keep things running smoothly.

📩 Need to drop your dog off earlier than planned? No worries — just send me a message or call me. With enough notice, I can usually make it work! ☎️

With the current heatwave and high temperatures, I kindly ask that you take extra care when travelling to the salon. Please avoid walking your dog on hot pavements and use a car (with air con) if possible to keep them safe and comfortable.

Your dog’s wellbeing is always my top priority. If any dog arrives showing signs of heat exhaustion or distress, I will not be able to proceed with the appointment, and it will need to be rescheduled for their safety.

IF you have an appointment and would like to reschedule for when the weather is cooler and safer for our wonderful dogs then please do let me know this is no issue and there will be no late cancellation fee for this.

⚠️☀️The weather is going to become extremely hot, especially over the weekend & into next week⚠️☀️
✅We strongly recommend you DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG OUTSIDE, AWAY FROM HOME during the daytime whilst the heat wave is upon us.
✅Taking your dog to a fete, or fun dog show is going to be extremely dangerous & we recommend giving them a miss.
✅Walk your dog at dawn, or dusk - but please do still take extreme care in the evenings as the air is still going to be very hot and humid.
✅If your dog is exhibiting signs of heat stroke please drench them all over in cool water ASAP and get them into the shade/indoors (ideally by a fan!) and then phone your vet for advice.
📋Recent published studies have shown that wetting an animal before transporting them to a vets resulted in better outcomes.

👀Signs of heat stroke

🔹Panting
🔹Brick red gums
🔹Excessive salivation
🔹Restlessness
🔹Collapse
🔹Vomiting
🔹Muscle twitching & seizures

⚠️Things to avoid

❎Never cover your dog in wet towel as it will trap the heat
❎Don't let your dog play with the hose pipe or water sprinkling systems as they may ingest too much water - This can cause water toxicity.
❎If your dog is struggling to breathe do not attempt to put anything (liquid or otherwise) into their mouths. We have seen terrible advice circulating online which recommends using lemon juice to help break down saliva. This does not work and is also extremely unpleasant for the dog!

Hi everyone!
Just a reminder that the price increase will take affect from today. If you are unsure on what your dogs groom price will be going forward don’t hesitate to drop me a message!! 🐾♥️

🐾 Important notice! 🐾

Starting May 1st 2025, there will be a 10% increase across all services.

I understand that price increases are never welcome news, and I’ve worked hard since opening the salon in 2020 to keep my prices as affordable as possible.

However, after consistently absorbing the rising costs of bills, products, and equipment ( plus a lot more costs that go on behind the scenes!) a price adjustment has become necessary to maintain the salon’s operations, and I’m committed to offering quality services at the best prices I can for you all.

If you have any questions about what the cost will be for your dog’s groom, please feel free to reach out.
