Fabulous place!!!! Completely secure, immaculate, perfect size, big enough to run and run but you can see them easily too. Spare poo bags in case you need. Fresh water ready, things to play/train on. Simple booking system and reasonably priced. I was particularly impressed by the fact you can drive your car in, lock behind you, and let the dogs out safely.
There's a lovely seating area too, I have 6 dogs so can't sit in case they poo and I don't see it. So I watch and walk behind mine the whole hour. But if your more than one person booking you could take turns with the shelter.
I also love that they don't allow waiting outside the field, I have extremely bad CPTSD, this is why I use dog parks so I'm calm and therefore the dogs are chilled too. My dogs are super lovely and sweet, but feel when I start to panic so get jittery on my behalf and there for bark. So to know we get complete and total peace here is like a gift from the Gods.
Also, I worried before I booked about the fences, as my little ones can climb. I reached out on Facebook and the owner immediately reassured me how safe it was. So lovely owner too. And it's true, field is totally secure so no need to panic. I'll definitely be booking this one regularly, it's fabbbbbulous!!!
I'd like to make one suggestion (absolutely no criticism here, it's something I suggest for all dog parks) and that's that I think a portaloo would be handy, as I'm diabetic so need to go to the toilet often. Obviously this is my problem and not actually dog park related, but just think it would be an added bonus. Thankfully, I'm currently camping 7 mins away from this particular field so can get home fast. But usually I'm an hours drive to and from the others I use, on top of the hour I'm in the park. Like I say no criticism.
I think Bromyard Dog Field is flawless and a magical little place for both dogs and owners particularly if nervous. It's been extremely well thought out.
