Our roving reporter Bravo Bealio aka was also competing at Horse-Events ode at Broadway. So over to Clsre
"WE’RE BACK!!! So me and Princess P finally made it back to the disco after our brief interlude … at the Horse Events Broadway ODE today. The ginger sassmeister was very pleased to be primped and glossy and back at a party with her friends … the dressage was consequently a little “excitable” but then we nailed another DC, with planned time as per team instructions - woo hoo! We have already qualified for Dauntsey and are saving our legs for Cotswold Cup points to hopefully maintain our place in the league table! That did mean that we had to have a little chat about speed and not doing zoomies down the big hill like we did last time …. Trotting, young lady! 'Absolutely gorgeous🌞 day at Horse-Events Broadway ODE with Tabitha and Team Carenza. Aggie was looking sleek and gorgeous after her pamper session yesterday 🦄😍 Our new dressage saddle helped bag us one of our best dressage scores (30.5) then just 1 pole show jumping as she was feeling a bit fiesty 💥 Onto the fabulous hilly xc with the gorgeous views across the Cotswolds. Hard ground meant we were on speed control down the steep hills but Aggie was furious about this (why are we TROTTING??!!) so then we had a little disagreement about speed coming into a step/log combination. A silly run out to add to our planned time penalties, ah well. She felt amazing and we got some fabulous photos! I can't wait for the eventing champs next month, when hopefully we've had some much needed rain 🌧 Fabulous horsey Sunday with Clare and Paris, Liz and Ginger and Steve and Jaxx. Well done and Ginger having had events cancelled and postponed due to the ground, it was lovely to get to Broadway for their second event of the season.
"With our times at the hottest part of the day, Ginger was a little lethargic in the dressage but livened up in the show jumping to put in a good round with only one down and then clear in a steady XC round - didn't want to risk her legs on the firm ground. Congrats to my team-mates, Clare Beale, Amy Curtis, & Steve Paxton and many thanks to Dannie for his help and all at Cotswolds Riding at Jill Carenza Equestrian"

Stop.Rewind. Play. The girls were in top form on a fab competition training day … with on Paddy this morning and then with Emily Carenza on Paris last Saturday with partners in crime, riding Ginger and Amy Curtis on Aggie - see smiley pic - and dressage drilling with Katy yesterday!! 🏇🏻❤️🏇🏻❤️

So what have our horses been up to? and Pinball had a fun weekend with the RAMS Equestrian Team at the Royal Navy Championships and Championships of Great Britain in Costa del Chepstow! 😎🥵
' First up on Saturday was the 1m speed class slap bang in the midday heat! A very twisty turny course but possibly one of our best rounds yet despite an unlucky pole down at fence 8 (typically there is no video evidence) to finish just out of the placings in 11th. Pinball then had a bit of down time to enjoy some recovery mash and shade in the stables until the 1m heat class later in the evening when it had cooled down slightly. The course builders were out in force and testing everyone's sat navs - mine had a temporary malfunction trying to locate fence 5 (sorry Pinball) 🤪 - however, I definitely wasn't the first or last! 🤣🙈 Somehow I managed to retain my composure to continue the course without crossing our tracks to finish on 4 faults and 9th place! So nice to see Team RAMS enjoying themselves, especially Emma McGrath and Mack who absolutely smashed it this year - thank you to her too for her camper van hospitality (and Elaine Bennett for the morale 😬). Pinball was a superstar as always and I feel so incredibly lucky to ride him - thank you to Emily Carenza, Kate and the whole Carenza Team especially my right hand man Dannie for making it happen! 🧡🚀No extreme'
