Todays latest intake took us to a kit living in a box (pitch black)!

A terrified jill who is only about 3 months old. She is now safe and will begin her rehabilitation.
Under the blanket was a pile of poo and no food available (being fed wet cat food).

This post is to try and educate people to not sell to children. They dont know any better, and unfortunately have been failed by adults.
We are so thankful we got this call and I cant thank our volunteer for going above and beyond to organise picking her up.

She will now have the best life and we will work with her to undo the trauma.

We are so sorry for the delay but our website is up to date and we are taking adoption appointments again.

Apologies, we have been so busy and the rescue owner has been poorly again.

We have lots of wonderful ferrets looking for homes...

At Marley's Ferret Rescue and Rehoming, we aim to rehome the ferrets in our care, however sometimes this is not possible due to temperament and health issues. In these circumstances, we offer a life long home.

At the weekend we was surrendered this lovely 8 week old kit. We have named him Solomon!

As you can see he is unable to walk. He can however feel his legs and move them. We have been to vet and have a plan in place. There is no clear cause as to why he cant walk. He is trying to use this legs but has alot of muscle wastage.

He has started hydrotherapy and physical therapy. He has medication and is on a calcium and vitamin d supplement. Hes happy, eating, drinking, toileting and getting around and playing despite everything.

His care is ongoing and we will do everything we can for him.

From Broken Pigeon House to Ferret Hospital and boarding!

The Build Has Begun!
Two years ago, we moved in with the intention of taking this old broken pigeon house to a hospital area and boarding.
The tools are out. The work has officially started!
We are incredibly moved and grateful to share that we have already raised £2,000 to kickstart this project. To everyone who has backed us so far, thank you.
Why the Ferrets Need This Now...We still have a mountain to climb to fund the rest of this build, but every penny directly changes ferret lives. This dedicated facility will provides:
Post-op sanctuary: A quiet, sterile, and stress-free environment for ferrets recovering from major surgeries.
Specialist care: Tailored medical spaces for ferrets recovering from trauma.
Premium boarding: A safe home away from home for the community.
