When Sarah and Jamie first met beautiful Bonnie nearly a year ago, it was love at first sight and there was no looking back! Before she knew it Bonnie was heading off with them to start a new life.
Bonnie is not comfortable around other dogs so it is wonderful to see she now has a best friend!
Hi all
We hope you & all your animals are doing well!
As Bonnie turned 3 (almost with us a full year!) we wanted to share some pictures of her with you!
She’s doing great, still inconsistent with other dogs but she has a very special best friend Elsie and they’ve been enjoying secure fields off leash together for a while now. Bonnie has worked out Elsie (a springer) will run the long distance and then pass the ball to her for the home run.
She’s eating as well as ever, more vocal and an absolute snuggle bug. Not a morning dog we’ve discovered and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We’re continuing to work on her reactiveness whilst acknowledging how well she’s doing. We’re as besotted as we were when we first saw her big ears coming up to meet us the first time!
We’d love to bring her to see you however when we drive past on the main road she does get very nervous but rest assured, she’s living her best life.
She now has an armchair in both the kitchen and living room, along with her normal beds. And in the garden she has her own rattan sofa and sun protecting raised bed although she does tend to take up the human furniture and table as she sunbathes.
Wishing you all well
Sarah, Jamie & Bonnie xx
