For the love of DOG!! Let them sniff!

Reasons why it is so important to allow your dog to sniff on their walks....
1. It is THEIR walk! You get to go out whenever you want, let them spend their walk how they choose!
2. Dogs "see" the world through their noses. If we translate how powerful their noses are to vision, it would be as if we could see 3000 miles, imagine being able to see from London, UK to Kansas, US!!
3. 'Sniffari's (slow scent walks) allow your dog to gather all the information left for them by previous passers by. We scroll on our phones for news and info, dogs sniff! Everything!
4. It is mentally and physically stimulating for them. 10 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to 40 mins running around!! Why wouldn't you want to mentally tire your dog? This also means it is suitable for old and young dogs alike as no physical strain!
5. The health benefits include reducing their heart rates and their stress levels.
6. Sniffing or scenting can help improve behaviours! Seriously! Allowing a dog to sniff will help promote calmness! What is not to like?!

Anyway..... the point of this post is to let you know that I will be running fun scent classes on Wednesday evenings from September 17th.
Courses are 6 weeks long and will be held in Albourne. Suitable for all ages and breeds. Send me a message to register your interest and book your space!!
