The purpose of the Charity is to rescue, care for and re-home abandoned dogs, or dogs who's owners sadly are no longer able to care for them. At Jerry Green Dog Rescue, we use social media to keep you, our 'pawsome s

upporters', up to date with our work and opportunities to get involved. It's also a place for people to share experiences if they wish, and to start wider conversations about dogs, and their welfare. It's important to us that our social media channels are a safe and inclusive place for everyone. To make this possible, we ask you to please be respectful of others and their opinions on our channels. We reserve the right to hide and potentially issue a warning to you if you do any of the following:

Your days are guaranteed to be brighter with a ray of sunshine like me in your life. I'm full of goofy grins and playful antics, being the centre of attention is one of my best skills! I'd thrive best being the only pet in my new home, and I'd love to find owners who have some experience with bigger girls like me. 💚

Hello, I'm Xander, a 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross ready to find my forever home! 💚

I'm one loveable chap, with a personality as huge as my heart. My friends at the centre say I'm just the biggest ball of energy, charm and spirit!

I absolutely LOVE playtime, and can show you some rather impressive zoomies. I'd love to find an adult-only family who can take me on lots of adventures where I can sniff and explore to my heart's content. 🐾

I'm sure to make the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for, but I do like to be the centre of your attention, so no other animals in the home please! 🐶

A secure garden where I can enjoy my favourite toys would also be perfect, and I'd need you to be home with me to start with. 🌟

We’re thrilled to share we’re opening a new charity shop in Forest Town! ✨

This exciting new venture will bring us even closer to the Mansfield community, and it is just ten minutes from our centre in Blidworth. The new shop will join our growing network of charity shops and will offer a wide variety of pre-loved clothing, homeware, and unique finds. 💚

The shop is set to open soon with an official opening date to be confirmed, but in the meantime, we need your help!

We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help our team set up the brand-new shop. In addition, applications are open for retail assistants to join our volunteering team who can lend their time to help run the store.

Volunteering in our charity shops is extremely rewarding, and flexible as you can give as little or as much as you like!

If you’re looking for a new opportunity where you can make a difference to dogs in need, we’d love to hear from you! 🐾

I'm the perfect combination of love, loyalty, and lots of fun! My favourite things are splashing in the sea and playing with my humans. Even though I know how to have a good time, I'm also super intelligent and can be the calming presence by your side. 💚

I'd make a great companion for someone looking for a playful, sensitive girl. I could live with children over 11+ who can keep me entertained with a game of tug in my own secure garden. I really am just looking for my new best friend, who can give me their undivided attention - so no other pets in the home would make me happiest. 🐶

Prinny arrived at the Nottinghamshire Centre in search of a new home due to the unfortunate ill health of her owner. This little lady was dreaming of a home filled with comfort, cuddles, and a human to spend her days with. ✨

It was love at first sight when Craig saw Prinny on the website. Everything about her seemed perfect, from her adorable appearance to the home she was looking for. Craig was certain he could provide Prinny with the loving home she was searching for.

Prinny went to her forever home with Craig in August 2024, and it’s safe to say she has truly landed on her paws! With time and patience, she has settled into her new home beautifully.

Life for Prinny is now full of joy, cuddles, and fuss from everyone she meets! 💚

Our Meet&Match® process helped form the special bond that Prinny and Craig share today. We’re so pleased that this adorable girl has found her forever home where she can truly shine.

I'm a super friendly boy who loves to play a good game of fetch and learn new tricks. Your days will never be dull with me around, I'm always ready to explore the big wide world with my endless curiosity and energy - I just need a best buddy to do it with. 🐶

I dream of finding an active family who know how to keep an energetic pup like me happy, and I'd also like to be the only pet in my new home. I could potentially live with children over 11+ too, as long as we can get along through the Meet&Match® process first. 🐾

Hey friends, it's Cooper here! I'm still patiently waiting for my forever home, do you have room for a loyal cuddle buddy like me? 💚

I'm a 7-year-old Bichon Frise looking for a family who have the time and patience for a loving boy like me. I can be a little shy at first you see, but once I get to know you, I promise to be the best companion anyone could ask for. I'd love to find an adult only family who are willing to take the time to get to know me and help build my confidence. 🐶

I'm a polite boy and like meeting other dog pals out on adventures, but I'd much prefer to be the only pet at home. I might be an older chap but don't let that fool you, I love my walks and would fit right into an active home. 🐾

As I said, once I get to know you, there's no stopping me from giving you endless love and cuddles. I could be left for 1-2 hours, but I'd like to have you around for most of the time! I'll also need a secure garden with 5ft fencing so I can potter around quietly, and a home without too many visitors would suit me best. 🌟
