🐴 Jasper – 16.2hh | 6-Year-Old Gelding

Very sad sale of the wonderful Jasper, he is a lovely 16.2hh, 6-year-old gelding looking for his next home.

He is still a green horse due to his age and experience, so he is not a ready-made ride, but he has all the qualities to make a fantastic horse for someone willing to continue his education. He is exceptionally sweet-natured, kind and honest, with a willing attitude and a genuine desire to please.

Jasper has a lovely temperament both on the ground and under saddle. On the ground he is a Labrador in a horse’s body, he loves attention and would stand all day for love and pampering. He is sensible, straightforward and takes everything in his stride. He is never nasty, malicious or silly and has proven himself to be a genuine horse who always tries his best.

He would suit a knowledgeable and confident rider looking for a quality young horse to produce further and enjoy. With continued schooling and mileage, Jasper has plenty of potential for a variety of disciplines.

He has been out to local dressage shows and is a real looker in the show ring.

A very special home is sought for this lovely boy.

With the recent rise in Equine Flu cases, the health and wellbeing of all horses on the yard remains our top priority. 🐴🧡

As part of reducing the risk of spread, we are currently taking extra precautions including:
• Increased disinfecting of stables and equipment.
• Monitoring all horses closely for any signs of illness, including taking temperatures for all new horses arriving.
• Encouraging good hygiene practices for anyone visiting the yard
• Limiting unnecessary horse-to-horse contact where possible

As many of you know, with sale horses and regular visits to other yards, biosecurity is something we take very seriously. Clothing, footwear and equipment are being cleaned and disinfected between yard visits wherever possible to help minimise any risk.

We kindly ask everyone to remain vigilant and avoid attending the yard if you have recently been around unwell horses. If your horse is showing any symptoms such as coughing, nasal discharge, temperature or lethargy, please contact your vet immediately and inform us as soon as possible.
