One thing I like to occasionally do on our walks is scatter a few tiny and I mean really tiny treats into the long grass for the dogs to find. 🐾
It might look like a simple game, but it’s actually great enrichment for them. Instead of just walking from A to B, they get to slow down, use their incredible noses, and explore the area in a way that’s natural and rewarding.
Sniffing works their brains, builds confidence, and gives them a chance to engage with their environment. Plus, they absolutely love the challenge of hunting down every last treat!
Sometimes the best activities are the simplest ones. 🐾
