Reminder for this Saturday - please let me know if you are interested in coming. Weather should be ok.

Reminder : The next session of long lead training is due to be held this Saturday, 27th September at the usual venue in Stickney. 3pm. This is a group session working on KC Good Citizen type exercises. All done using each other as distractions with as much distance as you and your dog needs. £10 per dog. Please message me to book a place and for directions if required. Please spread the word if you know anyone who might benefit from this type of session. We will work at the dogs pace and try not to put them under any undue pressure .

Here are some photos from today's beach walk. The showers held off until we were in the car on the way home. A really enjoyable, relaxed social walk for dogs and humans.

Purdie at her first Ringcraft session last night at Eastville village hall. She is being handled by people she has not met before - I think she did really well - she settled into it. Thanks everyone for your help and advice. Crufts here we come !!!!! (not sure what year it will be ? 2035 probably !!!) 😁🐾

Date for diary : next Kennel Club Good Citizen tests to be held on Saturday 25th October. So we have about 6-7 weeks to get the exercises well practiced when we continue training on 1st September.

The next 6 week KC Good Citizen Puppy course starts on Monday 1st September 2025. At the end of the 6 weeks, your puppy will (hopefully) successfully achieve a Puppy Kennel Club Good Citizen Certificate. £45 per dog. 10am - 10.45am Monday mornings at Stickney Village Hall. Please contact me for more details and to reserve your place. All breeds of dog welcome (not subject to restrictions ) aged 11 months and under. At 12 months old, your dog can work towards achieving Bronze, then Silver, then Gold in another group. Nicki

Doggie Snooker - at yesterday's training session. Purdie and me having a go. Each coloured exercise had to be followed by a red one with varying points attached to each one. In my session Luna the lurcher was 1st, Purdie came 2nd, just 5 points ahead of Jakey in 3rd. Thank you Catherine for organising this - it was fun.
