Welcome Turnip to Lou’s Dog Walking Service! 👋

He’s having me pop in 📅 while his family are away ✈️.

Cat visits include feeding 🥣, fresh water 💧, litter tray scoops 🧹, playtime 🧸, and updates with photos 📸 so you know your baby is happy at home 🏡.

Turnip took about 30 seconds to come over for a hello and head boop 😻. Safe to say we’re friends already!

Going away? I can keep your cats happy and stress-free in their own home.

Well, it was a very wet one today with Ochi and Beau!

Ochi’s expression perfectly sums up how we all feel about British summer rain. Beau, on the other hand, thinks every walk is the best walk.

Rain or shine, these two still got their sniffing, exploring, and tail wags in. They were troopers the whole way round, even if Ochi is now questioning his life choices. 🤣

Two very soggy but very happy dogs returned home for towel rubs and treats.

Say hello to Reggie 💛

Reggie’s 7 months old and joined me today for his first solo walk. We kept it nice and easy with a sniffy decompression walk around Ostlers, perfect for a big pup who’s still learning the world.

Rottweiler and Doberman crosses are so smart and sensitive. First walks are all about building trust, letting them set the pace, and lots of positive experiences. Reggie smashed it.

Really looking forward to watching this boy grow in confidence. Welcome to Lou’s Dog Walking, Reggie!

🎉 4 Years of Lou’s Dog Walking Service! 🎉

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I started Lou’s Dog Walking Service with just a couple of leads and a dream to spend my days with dogs 🐾💛

This past year has been the biggest yet. The business has grown so much – more waggy tails, muddy paws and amazing new clients joining the pack. I’ve added new services, met some incredible dogs and their humans, and hit milestones I only dreamed of when I first started.

None of this would be possible without you. To every single client who has trusted me with their dogs, recommended me to a friend, or sent a kind message – thank you. Your support means the world and I never take for granted how lucky I am to do this job.

Here’s to year 5: more adventures, more belly rubs, and more happy dogs 🥂🐕

Big day for Biggles, first group walk complete!

He was paired with the very experienced Brodie today, who took his mentoring duties very seriously. As you can see from Brodie’s face... he’s wondering why he agreed to babysitting duty 🤣

Jokes aside, Brodie was brilliant. He showed Biggles all the best sniffing spots, how to walk nicely together, and that group walks are great fun.

Biggles absolutely loved it and was a star student. Safe to say these two are best buds now. 🧡🐾

Celebrating 7 years with Pablo 💚

Seven years ago today, I adopted Pablo, a Romanian rescue dog who changed everything.

He’s not your typical dog. He doesn’t play with toys, he’s wonderfully stubborn, and he’s mastered the art of the blank, soulless stare when he disagrees with my decisions. But put him in the van for a group walk and he’s in his element, barking hello to everyone we pass and lighting up when he sees his dog friends.

Pablo is the reason Lou’s Dog Walking Service exists. He taught me that great dog care isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some dogs need play, others need freedom to be themselves, and all of them deserve patience and respect.

He’s been my co-pilot, my demo dog, and the unofficial Head of Client Relations. If your dog has been on a group walk with me, chances are they have met Pablo at some point!

Thank you for 7 years of lessons, laughs, and that stare. Here’s to many more van rides together. 🧡🐾
