A wet and wild outing today for Katie & “Balou Tropics” at Hascombe, but it was worth it, culminating in a win in the 1m 💪 braving the weather kitted out in clothing from Stockley Outdoor & Equestrian stickability in Voltaire Design UK Lexington saddle, and horse powered by Baileys Horse Feeds. Huge thank you to Zara Best for the fantastic video footage and compilation ❤️❤️

Not sure who I love more 🥰 the horse or my daughter 😂 super proud of how Katie’s riding is progressing, and watching her and “Balou Tropics” shine together at Pyecombe today with a lovely clear round the 1m.
Looking forward to riding club teams next Saturday for these 2.

Just before our last holiday of the summer we made a quick trip last Friday to Catherston for the BEF futurity with this years filly now named “Perfect Take” by So Perfect X Sezuan X Detroit
She had some lovely comments from the judges for her articulation and good ground coverage in the walk and canter, so very happy.
It was lovely to attend an event supported by our sponsors Baileys Horse Feeds who always advise us on our feeding of the youngstock which is so important 💚💚

Yesterday we waved goodbye to family and friends that have been visiting us from Australia and France which has been so lovely to spend time catching up with laughter and good food! After waving them off we headed to coombelands for some productive training with Balou & Katie. Looking forward to an impromptu outing Friday now with one of our much younger horses ❤️
