Pancreatitis can range from silent to fatal, and it’s almost always blamed on fat. But if that’s true…why do so many pets on ultra-low-fat diets still struggle with chronic pancreatitis? 🤔

Today at 12pm ET on the Inside Scoop, we’re breaking down all things pancreatitis with Dr. Nick Thompson (), including why fat isn’t always the enemy and why all raw diets are NOT created equal.

We’ll cover bad and oxidized fats, acute vs. chronic pancreatitis, warning signs, plus homemade low-fat recipes and supplements to support recovery.

👉 Comment SCOOPERS and we’ll send you the link to join our Planet Paws subscription group and watch today’s episode Live on Facebook. And when you subscribe to our community website, you’ll also get access to the entire 6+ years of past episodes, expert interviews, ebooks, and more.

This is a must-watch if your pet has had pancreatitis…or you want to prevent it. 🐾

I watched this free series and it totally makes sense to me and what I see in dogs that I treat as well as my own dogs. I hope that HRT can soon become available to pet owners who were advised by vets to spay/ neuter their animals.

Tomorrow is the final episode of the Hormone Health for Dogs video series. It’s been incredible to hear how many of you have had lightbulb moments, made connections, and finally found answers you’ve been searching for. Thank you for watching, sharing, and being part of this important conversation.

If you haven’t started yet, you’re still welcome to jump in, all episodes are available, and the link is in the comments.

Remember, hormones influence far more than most dog lovers realize. They shape energy, behavior, appetite, joint comfort, and overall resilience. When those signals change, especially in spayed and neutered dogs, their wellbeing can shift in quiet, subtle ways.

If your dog has seemed tired, moody, or “different” lately, this series may help you understand what’s happening behind the scenes.

You can still watch for free, link in the comments.
