As of next week as a farrier I'm changing a few things.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS
after I finish trimming/shoeing your horses, please book immediately before I leave. If you don't please don't expect to message or call me last minute and expect me to be with you, as there will be a 3/4 week waiting list. I'm very easy going i dont make clients have contracts or force them to have their horses shod every 5 weeks as some do, I don't care if book them in for 6 months time just ensure your booked in advance.

PAYMENT OF YOUR FARRIER
I'm good to everyone and I am one of the most reasonably priced farriers in the area, bank transfers are absolutely fine, they must be completed within 24 hours. If not then it will be cash on the day only, if you are not able to comply with this system then I'm afraid you will be removed from my books.

I'm sorry if this brings anyone any inconvenience, but I have a young family and new baby on the way, I'm shoeing all these horses and I have had enough of constantly having to chase payments and book appointments in my own time, they should already be booked in advance. This isn't a dig at any one person, and thank to all my great clients that p*e book and pay on time.

When a stepping cob farrier was asked by a very good friend of mine, can you make my Morgan horse go higher, a heavier 3/4 fullered shoe, a small amount of toe left on and now he's moving unbelievably. Some horse he is.

I know this is 2 statuses in one day🤣🤣 ,could everyone who is going to be wanting to do lots with their horses over the Christmas holidays,please get booked in now for December because I will be having around a week off over the Christmas period to spend with my family. I will still be on call if there is any emergencies and they will be seen to. But please to avoid disappointment get booked in early.to all my lovely clients that I have been to already and booked in for the new year, I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and thank you for all your loyalty and support.

A productive couple of days at myerscough college. A presentation on laminitis on Monday, followed by a day in the forge making therapeutic shoes, todays lectures where on tendon and ligament strains/injuries. Then we took part in ultrasound and the a dissection of the lower limb. I'm starting to get much better knowledge of remedial shoeing, preventing injuries and maintaining horses with vices.

Due to me being such a huge fan of the Queen, you have more chance of getting strick by lightning twice on Monday, than me shoeing your horse. Have a lovely Bank Holiday and see you Tuesday you lovely lot

Evening people
had a real bit of bad news this week, I have cancelled tomorrow and I'm going to be with the diary all day tomorrow to get you all in.
Thank you for all being so patient and Ill be with ASAP. Anyone waiting this week, I've got what I can done but the ones that haven't will be seen to next week no matter what.

Good morning everyone

As of Monday anyone paying by bank transfer is to complete the transaction on the day of shoeing. Unless discussed with me beforehand. If it isn't I'm afraid I won't be returning to shoe/trim your horses, I appreciate every single one of you as clients, however its not fair I have to sit going through my bank statements chasing non payers. I am currently taking a 2 year course to improve the knowledge and my ability as a farrier for your horses, this has cost me a lot of money and I've drove a total of 4500 miles this year to do so. Also I have 3 young children and a lovely partner who I would like to be dedicating my time to in the evenings.
I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, I have mentioned above If it is discussed I will help you and and arrange a date you can pay, I understand people struggle and your hobby is expensive, I am a very kind and understanding fella, if anyone isnt willing to comply then I wish you all the luck in the world with finding a farrier that can assist you.
Once again thank you for all of my clients that are supposing me backing me and recommending me frequently.
