Last week, our founder, Barbara, found this little bird injured in the road and Wildlife Rescue Mayo have been nursing them back to health! Thank you for the amazing work you do and for helping this little one 💚 xx

This lovely fledgling would like to say a huge thank you. To their finder who rescued her and drove to meet the lovely transport volunteer and to the transporter who collected them and another bird and brought them to the rescue.
Thanks to this generosity the fledgling is recieving care for their concussion and finding their feet again.

If you would like to help and become a transport volunteer please email the page. We are looking for drivers mainly in Mayo but also in Sligo and Roscommon. As little as one transport a month makes a huge difference.

These Cucumber & Mint Frozen Dog Treats are a refreshing way to help keep your dog cool during spring and summer.

Cucumber is naturally hydrating and low in calories, while mint can help freshen breath naturally.🥒🍃

This healthy frozen dog treat recipe is quick to make, packed with natural ingredients and perfect for enrichment activities on sunny days!☀️🧊

Ingredients
💚 ½ cucumber
💚 1 cup unsweetened coconut yoghurt
💚 3–4 fresh mint leaves
💚 1 tbsp chia seeds

Method
💚 Roughly chop the cucumber and mint leaves.
💚 Blend cucumber, mint and coconut yoghurt until smooth.
💚 Stir in chia seeds.
💚 Spoon mixture into silicone moulds, lickimats, kongs or ice cube trays.
💚 Freeze for 3–4 hours until solid.

These vegan frozen dog treats are ideal after walks or garden playtime. Store in a freezer-safe container and serve straight from the freezer for a cooling homemade dog snack!🧊☀️🥒
