Most of yesterday was spent sorting through and delivering this month's collection of donations to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this generous load, including:

I will be visiting the kennels again next month. However as usual, I will make an announcement on social media when I am able to accept your donations (this is due to the lack of storage space)

I will be making another trip to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre on Saturday 1st August if anyone would like to donate any items that will help with the care of the homeless dogs.

Please remember, although Maxi's will take duvets, they do not accept the feather filled type, pillows or cushions.

I am happy to take any preloved fabric dog beds so long as they are clean and in good condition. These will be offered to other kennels as Maxi's prefer the moulded plastic type.

Donations can be dropped at Aldiazik Happy Hounds as from today.

The remainder of this month's collection was delivered to Maxi's Mates Rescue & Rehoming Centre this afternoon.

My next visit is scheduled for Saturday 1st August should anyone have anything to give to the kennels nearer to this date.

Please remember, although Maxi's don't require the soft material type beds, I do know of other rescue centres who would appreciate them. Therefore, I am willing to accept them so long as they are clean and in good condition.
