Another fabulous so lovely to read and share with you all ❤️

Helping Vincent feel safe, secure and confident in the salon for the first time in his life is the most rewarding feeling 🏆

His Mummy usually has to bath him at home because of how stressed he was getting in the salon, and then she’d have to go over him groom at home afterwards. But during his first ever visit to Spoilt Rotten he enjoyed a gentle and relaxing bubble bath he was such a good boy 🫧 not an ounce of anxiety.

And his full groom was complete without stress, worry or anxiety, beautiful boy well done darling ✂️

Every visit from now he will only get more confident 🛁

Another beautiful doggy who has had a life of trauma in the salon, until today when he joined us and it all changed.

His mum told us that he’s usually really distressed, misunderstood, told off, pulled around and muzzled. His mum told us how she had to stay during his groom some times and that he was so stressed, how his face got pulled around and he was shouted at to stay still (this makes me really sad to hear, the worse part is the frequency I am hearing it).

Today, his groom took just over an hour including a lovely bubble bath and blow dry, he was muzzled for his front feet as this is his absolute no go area but for the rest he was as cool as a cucumber, not a peep not a growl not a snarl not any sign whatsoever of distress. I don’t use any restraint either.

I’m finding most of my new adult doggy clients having past trauma and taking my time to build their confidence. The difference I see after just one hour of caring, compassionate, understanding gentle and experienced hands is immense.

Harris is 10 years old, bless him, no more negative experiences just positive from now on ❤️

Happy Monday all, what a way to start the week with such a glowing

Simba is a sweetheart, and has been totally misunderstood in the grooming salon, until he found Spoilt Rotten. Happy little Prince.

After a gradual pedicure, he had a warm and gentle bubble bath, relaxing massage, blow dry, deshed and hand scissor to give him a smart look all over.

This beautiful button is already booked in for his next spa day.

In the last few weeks, we've registered and helped 20 NEW doggies, registering new clients every single day, it is such a privilege to be in such demand and in the position to help so many doggies in need. Then to open our emails and read reviews like this, what recognition 🥰

If your doggy doesn't enjoy visiting the dog groomers, get in touch as this doesn't need to be the case anymore. Now we are taking on new clients we welcome those in need of a slower, one to one, highly experienced level of dog understanding. We have over 19 years professional dog grooming experience. But with the rate we are filling up I can't guarantee we will be able to keep our books open for too long.

Happy Monday 👋

Taking on new clients, whilst spaces last.

We are fully booked this week and next week is limited but we have a couple of available appointments and then a handful last week in May 🐾

Experience a holistic groomer, working at your doggies pace, ensuring positivity, safety and happiness throughout 🐾

Dog grooming should be a positive experience for all dogs, I don’t allow sedation (I have never needed a dog to be sedated to be groomed and don’t agree with it), parents don’t need to stay with their doggies and I’ve never sent a doggy home because the groom couldn’t be finished this all goes hand in hand with me working with the doggies to build their trust, confidence and understanding in a stress free environment 🐾

With over 19 years experience it’s as much about understanding dogs behaviour and how to handle each breed in their own unique way as much as it is giving them a beautiful hair cut ✂️

We work one to one, in a quiet peaceful salon established for the needs of doggies 🐾

The salon they would choose ❤️

Because they mean the world 🌎 to us and deserve to be totally Spoilt Rotten 🐾

Charlie is an older boy (Labrador), this was his first visit to a professional salon and what a good boy he was, he had the most thorough deep clean shampoo and condition and then deshedding treatment that Dave was left with more of Charlie’s hair on him 😂😂😂😂

At one point we were full on blizzard 🛁

When older doggies visit we have a set of rules that we have established that come in the play to ensure extra safety, this includes: -

🐾 No jumping on or off tables (even though it is electric and lowers to the floor)
🐾 Two of us lifting to offer extra support
🐾 No jumping in or out the bath (even though it is electric and lowers to the floor)
🐾 Choice of natural products to be extra gentle on the skin
🐾 Water available at all times
🐾 Breaks given
🐾 Extra staff working (minimum two staff) to assist with support handling if needed
🐾 Extra comfort if they sit on the floor

What a little super star ⭐️

He is a 13 year old terrier and even though he is deaf he definitely understood the words ‘Good Boy’ because his little face lit up 😍

At his next visit he is going to have an Ultrasonic Dental Session 🦷 which is another service that we offer

Groom start to finish under an hour, ensuring we keep sessions for older dogs minimal, quick, thorough and positive without causing stress or anxiety ❤️

His nails were done before he even realised I had the nail trimmer in my hand ✂️

If you want to experience a holistic groomer with 19 years experience, working with dogs on their terms, with compassion, care, and safety get in touch as following the increased demand for our services we have extended our hours meaning we are welcoming new clients again (until we’re full) 🐾
