When deciding on a head shape for your dog, it’s always best to choose a shape and style that will enhance natural features and curves, to compliment your dog‘s characteristics as well as lifestyle and needs. For example here with maxi the Shih Tzu, by using tight round shaping over the nose to open up his eyes and soften the muzzle giving him a gentle clean expression. 🖤

With this in mind, we offer Puppy introduction sessions to build your puppy’s confidence in a grooming environment, teach them new skills, introduce new equipment such as, dryers, nail clippers, combs and scissors if necessary. We only use sensitive shampoo, with is natural, mild and calming properties to give your puppy the best start in grooming.

Understanding your dog.

Your dog isn’t able to remove tight, uncomfortable matts and compact hair from their coat. A regular grooming routine, alongside using the correct grooming tools & techniques at home will eliminate matting & build up of unwanted dead coat. keeping your dog happy, healthy & comfortable. We recommend grooming appointments 4-8 weekly depending on your dogs needs and lifestyle.

When your dog makes a mistake, shouting & raising your voice is likely to cause them confusion & anxiety, possibly creating negative behaviour. Be sure to understand your dog, have compassion & be patient with your dog to set them up for success.

As well as physical exercise, dogs love to be challenged mentally, creating games & fun training techniques at home. This will not only keep your dogs brain busy but also create a strong bond between you both, happy dog happy owner.
