Someone gave up on Cilla when she was still just a teenager.
Like many young dogs, she was learning how to cope with the world around her. Busy places, new people, and other dogs could feel overwhelming, and sometimes she reacted out of worry. She didn’t need blame. She needed support.
Despite her nerves, Cilla quickly showed us how bright she is. She loved food, learned new skills fast, and responded brilliantly to training.
She also adored playtime, especially soft toys, and her fun, cheeky personality began to shine more each day. With routine, enrichment and understanding, Cilla grew in confidence and learned to settle.
After waiting what seemed like a lifetime, Cilla found her forever home. Her new family understands she is still learning and will keep helping her become the happy, confident dog she was always meant to be.
But more teenage dogs like Cilla are still waiting for their chance.
