❄️ Adoption Update: Snowflake ❄️

Just look at her... 🥹❤️

It’s safe to say Snowflake has settled beautifully into her new home. From the moment she arrived, she made herself comfortable and quickly showed her new family just how loving she is.

She loves fuss, attention, and belly rubs, and after only a few days she decided that laps are one of life's greatest inventions. In fact, her adopter says it's now difficult to get her off once she's settled in for a cuddle!

Seeing updates like this reminds us why we do what we do. Thank you to Snowflake's adopter for giving her such a wonderful home, and for sharing this cosy snapshot of a cat who is clearly living her best life. 🏡

Seven signs you live with a teen dog:

This sweet 8-year-old French Bulldog is searching for a place to call home.

Like any good French lady, Maggie loves the finer things in life such as cosy spots on the sofa, plenty of affection, and being close to her favourite people. She'll happily curl up beside you and gently remind you when the fuss stops!

Maggie also has a playful side and loves squeaky tennis balls and soft toys. She'd like to be the only dog in the home but may be able to live with cats, and she can live with teenagers.

With a secure garden to potter around in and a family to shower her with love, Maggie will make a wonderful companion.

Bailey arrived as a teenage cat at a tricky stage in life, full of energy but unsure how to cope with it all.

His owner was no longer able to manage his behaviour, and without support, Bailey became overwhelmed during play and sometimes nipped when he couldn’t express himself any other way.

But underneath the boisterous behaviour, Bailey was still just a young cat wanting connection. With gentle handling, enrichment, and care, his affectionate, playful nature began to shine through.

Valerie's Happy Tail 🐾

Do you remember Valerie, our sweet Saluki mum from last year?

Well, she’s now off on adventures and living her very best life!

Her forever family recently sent us an update, and it’s safe to say Valerie is absolutely thriving. Over the last few months, her confidence has blossomed, her gorgeous coat has grown back, and her tail is wagging more than ever 🐾

She’s already enjoyed holidays to the Gower and Cornwall, made new friends on monthly sighthound walks, and even started weekly obedience and agility classes!

This clever girl can now do sit, down, and paw and continues to amaze everyone with how brave she is trying new things. When she’s not out exploring, Valerie loves nothing more than sunbathing in the conservatory by day and curling up on her sofa at night ☀️

Her family told us they “couldn’t imagine life without her” and honestly, we couldn’t be happier for them all 🥰

Edward arrived as a stray with a broken leg, while he was still just a teenager.

Instead of learning about the world the way young dogs should, Edward spent his first weeks with us on strict rest while his leg healed.

But even then, his teenage spirit shone through. He was full of energy and curiosity. Blankets were shredded. Sofas were jumped on. Quiet moments were treated as optional 🐾

Edward loved people and wanted to greet everyone at full speed. He just needed help learning that four paws on the floor is usually the better option.

With consistency, training and lots of encouragement, Edward began to settle. Visits to new spaces became calmer. Walks became easier. His confidence started to grow.

Like so many young dogs, Edward just needed someone to show him the way and the right match came along.

Roman is still waiting for his person.

When he first came into our care, he had been abandoned. He was coughing, covered in fleas, and had sores on his paws.

Today, Roman is healthy, safe, and ready for his next chapter.
