We specialise in a large variety of top quality rare breed poultry, ducks, POL hybrids, guineafowl, emus, chicks & hatching eggs.

In just two weekends (4 ‘open’ days for us) our most recent batch of hundreds of POL hybrids have nearly sold out! Our next batch will be with us late June, and we are already taking orders!!

We have just a few left now which include:

🦤 Something a little different… and a rare opportunity! 🦤

EDIT: JUST 2 left…

We rarely have emus available without a waiting list, but we currently have some beautiful young emus looking for new homes 😍

Friendly, curious, and full of personality, these little ones are always entertaining around the farm and make fantastic additions for hobby farms, smallholders, breeders, or exotic bird enthusiasts.

✨ Currently available:
• 4 x 2-month-old emus
• 4 x 4-month-old emus

All chicks are now off heat and happily spending their days outdoors, although they will still need secure nighttime protection from foxes until they are a little bigger.

While emus are lots of fun and relatively easy to keep with the correct setup, we are committed to being responsible breeders and ensuring they go to suitable homes.

Emus require:
✔️ Secure, appropriate fencing
✔️ Plenty of space to exercise naturally
✔️ A correct balanced diet
✔️ Companionship — emus must be kept in a minimum of pairs

We are always happy to offer advice and guidance to new owners 😊

We are really surprised by Emmy the emu’s behaviour with the emu chicks!
These are not her babies. In fact, at 2 years old she’s not even started laying yet. Female emus aren’t natural care givers either, as it’s the males who incubate the eggs and tend to chicks.
Normally, Emmy has shown herself to be quite dominant and territorial, often squabbling with the other emus.
Despite all this, she has really taken to these babies, keeping them close and safe and guiding them on where to graze 🥰

We have a very broody Bruce incubating his eggs. 😍🐣

Not something you see every day!

Did you know: It’s the males that do all of the incubating of the eggs and rearing the chicks naturally. Depending on individual- mum is sometimes present providing extra protection in the background, or sometimes mum leaves dad completely to it!

The question is, will Bruce manage to hatch any? We’re excited to hopefully find out in the next few weeks 😆🤞
