🐱✨Why do we remove your cat’s collar during their stay with us? ✨🐱

It’s something many owners notice when they collect their cats, and there’s a very important reason behind it… safety comes first!❤️

While collars are perfectly suitable for many cats at home, a cattery environment is different. Cats can be surprisingly agile and curious🐾, squeezing into spaces, climbing, stretching, playing, and exploring their surroundings. Even breakaway collars can occasionally become caught on bedding, scratching posts, cat furniture, or enclosure fittings.

To reduce any risk of injury or distress, we remove collars shortly after arrival and store them safely until your cat is ready to go home. 🏡

Please don’t worry - every guest is identified and carefully monitored throughout their stay. We know exactly who everyone is, and your cat’s welfare is our absolute priority from check-in to collection. 🐱💞

Our aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free holiday for all our feline visitors, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.🌟

Firstly, we’d like to say a massive THANK YOU to all our wonderful owners for your patience, understanding, and flexibility while Jill and David have been away. ❤️

It’s been our busiest May EVER! 🎉🐱 With so many lovely feline guests staying with us, we’ve been working incredibly hard and have often found ourselves juggling bookings and trying to squeeze everyone in where possible.

We’re so grateful to those of you who have been able to fit in around our availability and book alternative dates when we’ve been short on spaces. Your support means the world to us. 🥰

🐹💛 We had the pleasure of looking after these adorable guinea pigs the other week at Broadlands Cattery! They were such lovely little guests and brought lots of smiles during their stay 🥕✨

The cats absolutely loved watching the guinea pigs having an amazing time in their hut and eating their veggies🥕🙈💫

Your hard work, care, and dedication never go unnoticed — and it’s because of you that everything runs so smoothly, even when the days are non-stop and the cats just keep coming 🐾💨

We’re constantly growing, evolving, and improving behind the scenes, and I’m really hoping the new system we’re putting in place will make life that little bit easier for us all 🤞
