We are pleased to share that we are currently looking for a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team.

We are a well established, first opinion small animal practice with five primary care branches providing exceptional veterinary care across North Tyneside and Northumberland. Our Backworth surgery is well equipped with a CT machine, digital X-ray, endoscopy, modern lab machines and laparoscopic spaying. It is a friendly and supportive environment where nurses are empowered to use their full skill set and we pride ourselves on excellent clinical standards, compassionate client care and collaborative team culture.

You would be part of a fantastic team consisting of 10 RVNs, 4 SVNs and 1 ACA where CPD is generous and encouraged with the opportunity for certificates to be completed. Other perks include staff discount, pension scheme and paid RCVS membership. You will see a varied daily workload including routine and non routine surgeries, imaging, dentistry and nursing clinics. The role is primarily based at our Backworth and Northumberland Park sites but also includes occasional visits to our other consulting branches.

It is a full time role working 40 hours per week with a mixture of shifts between 730am and 8pm including Saturdays on a rota basis and one bank holiday a year (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day). There are no OOH.
