Hart Vets Waddesdon

Hart Vets Waddesdon Improving the lives of pets and their owners Hart Vets Waddesdon cares for pets in Aylesbury and the surrounding villages.

Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and their owners. We are dedicated to providing quality affordable health care with compassion. We care for your pets the same way we would want our own pets to be cared for. Our Waddesdon Aylesbury veterinary surgery is small and friendly. We like to get to know our patients and our small size helps ensure our clients see familiar faces when they visit.

Although we are small, our facilities and equipment rival and exceed many larger practices. For example, we have digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy on site. We also have our own in house lab to allow rapid diagnosis, and anaesthetic monitoring equipment like used in human hospitals. We use fluid pumps for all patients requiring fluid therapy which is much safer. Separate cat and dog wards reduce stress for our patients. We operate on-site Monday- Friday in our purpose designed operating theatre. We have an experienced team of vets and veterinary nurses. Hart Vets Waddesdon is an RCVS accredited Small Animal Practice. Our veterinary hospital in Bicester is one of only 241 practices in the country that have met the stringent requirements set by the RCVS to be accredited as a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital. Our out of hours emergency service is provided by our own vets and nurses at our veterinary hospital in Bicester. The data controller is Independent Vetcare ltd, The Chocolate Factory, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2AU (ICO reference number Z3212973). We have a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at [email protected]

🐾 We are pleased to see that many of our clients have booked their pets in for our new Wellness Screen program.

This is fully comprehensive screening with one of our nursing team and includes:
βœ”οΈ A full physical exam
βœ”οΈ Complete clinical history
βœ”οΈ Urine testing
βœ”οΈ Blood pressure measurement
βœ”οΈ Blood tests for organ function (kidney, liver, diabetes, and blood cell count)

☎ To promote the screens we do have an external company calling clients, with pets that meet the age criteria, to inform them about the screen - these are genuine communications, not spam or scams.πŸ‘

πŸŽƒ Are you getting ready for Halloween? πŸŽƒ

πŸ‘» For some of us Halloween is about all things spooky, but for our pets, a sudden change in their environment - such as putting up decorations can be frightening. If you are decorating your house put them up slowly so your pets can adjust to them.
🍭 Be sure to keep any treats well out of paw's reach. Chocolate and sweets containing xylitol and toxic to our pets so if they do ingest anything they shouldn't be sure to contact us immediately.

Beautiful girl Abi was recently in to be spayed. πŸ€ŽπŸ–€

All our bitch spay’s are performed using a LigaSure vessel sealant. This innovative piece of equipment allows our vets to perform surgery much faster, reducing the amount of time your pet is under anaesthesia. The LigaSure also means that the surgical incision is much smaller resulting in less post-operative discomfort. πŸ’•
