🐟 Benjamin has been enjoying meeting some of your more unusual pets recently. Amongst those was a little fish with a condition called 'pine coning'. This is a condition where the fish's scales protrude outwards, giving them the appearance of a pinecone.🌲

His owner sent us in some photos from her 'shoal' of goldfish, aren't they pretty colours! 🧡🤍🩶🤎

🐠🐦 🦎Great news for exotic pet owners! 🐢🐍🕷

🐾 Whilst some of you may have already met our vet Benjamin Kennedy with your more furry pets did you know he is also an expert in caring for birds, reptiles, exotic mammals, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates too!

Benjamin is working with us whilst Lizzie on maternity leave, so if you need an appointment for your exotic friend please be sure to contact us! 📲

🐕 Lost Old English Sheepdog, male, recently groomed, found in Grendon Underwood. Has no collar or tag, is microchipped but is not registered.

🖤 This fantastic looking boy is Harley. For the past year he and his owner have been working with Teya to get him back to a healthy weight. ⚖️

📉 Starting at 38kg, Harley has lost an amazing 10kg now weighing in at just over 28kg. He now has a beautiful waistline and tummy tuck, just as he should! 👏👏

🥰 This week we welcomed adorable Border Terrier puppy Honey to the practice.

Her owners decided to join our new Pet Health Club Plus which means all her vaccinations, parasite treatments and consultations are covered by monthly direct debit. 👍

🐰 Did you know that a rabbit's teeth are continuously growing, and as they eat they are ground down to keep them in shape. Unfortunately if they are not fed the correct diet, or if the teeth are misaligned, then this doesn't happen and the teeth can become overgrown and painful.

This little bunny is currently under the care of the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary and recently came in so we could reshape the overgrown teeth and remove the 'spurs' that were causing the discomfort. 🦷
