Important Grooming Appointment & Pricing Update 🐾✂️
A little update for all my lovely clients ❤️
I’ve recently had far too many missed appointments and last-minute cancellations, and unfortunately, this has a significant impact on my small business.
When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved specifically for you and your dog. I prepare for their visit, turn away other bookings and organise my working day around your appointment. When someone doesn’t attend, that time — and the income attached to it — cannot be recovered. As a small business, repeated no-shows have a real financial impact, and it is incredibly disappointing.
Most importantly, keeping your dog’s grooming appointments on top of is important for their health and wellbeing too 🐶❤️. Regular grooming helps maintain a healthy coat and skin, prevent painful matting, keep nails at a suitable length and allows me to spot any changes or concerns
📌 Appointment policy
💰 A deposit will be required when requesting an appointment. Your appointment will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received and the booking has been approved.
⏰ At least 42 hours' notice is required for cancellations or appointment changes.
❌ Cancellations with less than 42 hours' notice and no-shows will result in the deposit being non-refundable.
💷 Pricing Update
I also want to let you know that there will be price increases on certain grooming services.
This has not been a decision I've made lightly. With the increasing costs of products, equipment, utilities and the time involved in providing a professional, safe and high-quality grooming service, some prices need to be adjusted to ensure the business can continue to operate sustainably.
I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. ❤️
I completely understand that genuine emergencies can happen, and I will always try to be reasonable where possible. However, I also need to protect my time, my livelihood and my small business.
Please respect your appointment and let me know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. Giving notice means I may be able to offer the appointment to another dog who needs it. 🐕💕
