After being until late last night preparing the queens to send out they just had their last feed before I take them to our local post office at the Coop. They will be there until the end of the day at a nice temperature.
This was my best delivery of queens of the season so far, not one queen dead! My supplier is happy with my suggestion to improve the delivery and tried it with other resellers in the EU who also gave him the big improvement on the welfare of the queens during transport under hot weather. There is one final touch to do on the shipping container and it will be marvellous for next season.

I am not just an old git as Michaela tells me sometimes, I am a proper old git that doesn't stop until I get what I want...sometimes she suffers the consequences, you get me?

We are delaying 1 day the delivery of the queens this week. I will be arriving a bit late in order to do all the work involved before sending the queens out. Going the extra mile because conditions are hard this week.
