More adventures from our care homes! 🚌

It’s been another busy week of days out, with our residents making the most of the sunshine and enjoying some wonderful trips together!

🌳 Barking Hall enjoyed a beautiful morning at Needham Lake, taking in the wildlife and sunshine with coffee and cake.

🌸 Uvedale Hall had a lovely afternoon at a garden centre in Woodbridge, enjoying flowers, fish, tea and cake.

🦁 Claremont enjoyed a full day exploring Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, with plenty of amazing animals to see and a picnic along the way.

🦆 Kingsmead headed to Coate Water for some fresh air, beautiful surroundings and quality time together.

From wildlife and gardens to coffee and cake, it’s wonderful to see our residents getting out, exploring new places and creating more special memories together! 💙

At Ladymead Care Home, the team recently enjoyed a lovely staff picnic – a chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some good food and spend time together.

We know how much our care teams give to residents every day, which is why taking time to look after our staff is just as important. Moments like these are a great opportunity to relax, recharge and strengthen the wonderful team spirit at Ladymead.

Residents have been getting creative with arts and crafts across our homes and brighten up their surroundings! 🎨

At Walcot Hall, residents created colourful hot air balloons and butterflies using cellophane and sticky-back plastic, with plenty of sparkle added too! Meanwhile, Uvedale Hall enjoyed an afternoon of knitting, painting 3D flowers and trying their hand at origami. 🫟🦋

Over at The Hillings, residents created beautiful artwork featuring flowers growing from watering cans, while Bedhampton Court residents used their creativity to paint colourful rocks for the garden, with designs including rainbows, bees and turtles.

It’s been lovely to see everyone getting creative, trying new things and adding their own personal touches to the homes and gardens! 🧡

Our residents have been enjoying some wonderful days out recently! 🌞

Residents from The Manor House enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Aylsham Garden Centre, treating themselves to delicious cakes and tea while spending time exploring the centre. ☕🍰

While over at Ladymead, residents had a fabulous day at the Bristol Zoo Project, spotting an amazing variety of animals and enjoying a picnic lunch in the sunshine. 🦒🧺

And residents from Oaklands enjoyed a special private visit to Southwold Museum, learning more about the town’s history and local community before relaxing with refreshments on the green in the sunshine.

It’s always lovely to see our residents getting out and about, exploring new places and enjoying the sunshine! 💜

Summer weekends are all about bringing everyone together!🌞

Our homes have been enjoying some fantastic fetes, carnivals and summer celebrations over the weekend. Meadow House hosted a fun-filled Carnival Fete, The Chase enjoyed a tropical-themed Beach Party, Olive House welcomed an Elvis tribute to their Summer Fête, and The Old Vicarage brought residents, families and friends together for a wonderful Garden Party. 🎶🍰

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the sunshine, good company and plenty of summer fun! 💙

There’s nothing quite like a spot of baking to brighten up the week! 🧁🍫

Residents across our homes have been getting creative in the kitchen. The Hillings enjoyed making delicious chocolate cornflake cakes, while Barking Hall baked some lovely shortbread fingers. Over at Kingsmead, residents proved that pancakes aren’t just for Shrove Tuesday, flipping up a tasty batch that was enjoyed very quickly! 🥞

From mixing and baking to flipping and, of course, enjoying the finished treats, it’s been a wonderful week of homemade goodies! 💙

There have been plenty of special animal visits across our homes recently!

Residents at Tenchley Manor enjoyed some lovely cuddles with furry friend Lexi, bringing plenty of comfort and companionship on a rainy day. At The Chase, Performing Pets brought along some beautiful budgies and cockatiels, giving residents the chance to hold, stroke and interact with their feathered friends. 🐦🐶

Over at Uvedale Hall, residents enjoyed cuddles with guinea pigs Kit-Kat and Cookie, as well as meeting tortoise Shelly. The visit also sparked some wonderful conversations and memories about pets from the past. Meanwhile, Oaktree welcomed Zara the pony for a very special visit! 🐴🐢

From furry friends to feathered companions and even a tortoise and pony, it was a wonderful week of animal visits, creating special moments and happy memories across our homes! 💜

What an amazing achievement! Ashley Gardens were delighted to welcome Sam and Julie from Head Office to help celebrate four wonderful team members and their incredible long-service milestones. 💐

Judith celebrated an outstanding 15 years of service at Ashley Gardens, while Sonya, Simone and Sandra each celebrated 10 years. 🌟

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all four for their dedication, hard work and commitment over the years. Your contribution to Ashley Gardens is truly valued and appreciated! 💜

There’s nothing better than making the most of the sunshine and enjoying time together in the garden! 🌞✈️

Residents at The Manor House have been soaking up the warm weather with refreshing drinks, good company and plenty of fun, including a fantastic afternoon at the Tipsy Old Timer Bar. Meanwhile, at Sovereign Lodge, residents enjoyed the sunshine while relaxing outdoors and watching planes pass overhead. 🎶🍹

It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, make memories and celebrate the wonderful communities within our care homes! 💜

Our care homes have been a great time with some fantastic Elvis tributes! 🎤

At Bedhampton Court, residents enjoyed an afternoon of Elvis’s greatest hits, with the King himself bringing plenty of fun and entertainment to the home. Over at Foxearth Lodge, residents enjoyed a memorable morning filled with Elvis classics and even staff were getting into the spirit, followed by an afternoon of puzzles, target games and Giant Kerplunk in the garden. 🎶

The celebrations also included two special birthdays at each home, making the Elvis-themed days even more memorable! 🎂🎉
