We’re expecting some hot weather this week. If it feels warm to you, it’s even hotter for your dog.

Skipping a walk is always the safer choice when it’s too hot. No dog has ever been harmed by missing one, but heatstroke can be deadly.

Find out how to spot the signs and keep your dog safe with our vet-approved guide: https://www.pethealthclub.com/uk/pet-advice/heat-stroke-in-dogs

⚠️ Tick season is here – time to check your dog. Ticks love to hide in warm, hard-to-spot places. After every walk, give your dog a once-over, and pay extra attention to their ears, armpits, and between their toes.

Or keep pests at bay without the hassle with Pet Health Club. Our members enjoy year-round flea, worm, and tick treatment, so join today.

⚠️ Contagious cough (also known as Kennel cough) is widespread, distressing and highly contagious ⚠️

Cases are seen frequently in unvaccinated dogs, caught from anywhere other dogs explore; the park, daycare, training classes, shared water bowls outside shops...

Yearly vaccination throughout life is the best way to protect your dog and reduce the spread. Check with your vet today if your dog’s vaccinations are up to date.

Don’t delay! Book your dog in for their vaccination by visiting our website.

Chocolate, cooked bones, hot cross buns, and sugar-free sweets might be Easter favourites, but they can be toxic to dogs.

Did you know even a small amount of raisins (or grapes) can be dangerous for dogs?

They can cause kidney failure, so it’s important to act fast if your dog eats any.

🚨 What to do if your dog eats raisins or grapes:

✔️Call your vet immediately. Don’t wait for symptoms
✔️If you can, tell them how much they’ve eaten

Signs of raisin poisoning include vomiting, lethargy, and loss of appetite. Even if your dog seems fine, seek
veterinary advice.
