And that’s a wrap! After more than 8 years of Perkins Pet Services, today was my final day before hanging up my walking boots.
It’s been an emotional week saying goodbye to each of you and your dogs. I have been overwhelmed by your kind words, cards and gifts and I can’t thank you all enough.
It’s been quite a journey during my time running a dog walking business. There have been highs and lows; hot weather; cold weather; I’ve gained dogs and lost dogs, oh and a pandemic in the middle of it too! I’ve learned a lot about business, dogs, people and myself.
I’m about to embark on probably the hardest job I’ve ever had in my life, but it’s a challenge I’m excited for and I’m looking forward to the next chapter and what it has to hold.
I want to thank everyone who has ever trusted me with their fur baby. I always took on dogs as joining a part of our family and loved them all as if they were my own. I will miss them dearly and they will forever have a special place in my heart.
