“I was introduced to dogs from the day I was brought home from the hospital growing up with an Alsatian/ Labrador cross called Boski who was my shadow/ bodyguard from the second I was placed in front of him. Even when arthritis was getting the better of him at the ripe old age of 22 he would still insist on following me everywhere I went.
At the age of 8 I got my first puppy a ball of fluff, Barney, a Lhasa Apso/ Bichon Frise cross, my best friend for 17 years, though I did have to share him, most begrudgingly, with my sister. I was lucky enough that my school also had a farm, over my years there, I worked with most farmyard creatures caring, feeding and showing many different animals and breeds, this really cemented my love of the outdoors and caring for animals.
I was born and raised in Essex moving to Andover 6 years ago. Our current four legged companions are; Dobbi a 9-year-old Labrador/ Malamute cross and Hotch a working 3-year-old Springer/Cocker Spaniel cross. Two very different dogs especially when it comes to energy levels, however they are largely inseparable.
