🐾 GLENDALE SHOW 2026 🐾

If you’d told me two years ago, when I first started Pawformance Agility, that we’d one day be invited to Glendale Show to put on a main arena display in front of hundreds of people and that I’d be doing the commentary too!
I honestly would never have believed you! 🥹❤️

All the hard work, working almost 7 days a week, juggling a career alongside building this business… it really feels like it’s starting to pay off.

And what an absolutely fantastic day we had yesterday! 🐶✨

We had lots of our amazing Pawformance Agility members helping out on our stand and, of course, performing in the main arena. I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.

We were a big talking point throughout the event and held the crowd tremendously.
Most importantly, we showed everyone exactly what agility is all about.
Fun, teamwork, enthusiasm, and a wonderfully friendly and supportive community ❤️

Seeing our members out there representing Pawformance Agility and enjoying themselves made all the hard work completely worthwhile.

This was our last external event of the year, and I’ll be honest… after doing one every weekend for the last four weeks, I am absolutely EXHAUSTED! 😂

But now the focus shifts to the next big chapter…

OUR INDOOR ARENA!

Once it’s finally up and running, we’ll be holding an OPEN DAY, and I cannot wait to welcome everyone in and show you what we’ve been working towards.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday so special. I’m incredibly proud of what Pawformance Agility is becoming. ❤️🐾

⭐️ Talisker Training Diaries ⭐️

Tonight we did 10min of training in the garden!

I’ve been doing lots of shaping of a cone so today we moved to a wing.
However he found this transition to a wing difficult so I popped the cone behind the wing to help his understanding of wing + cone with the aim to phase out the cone in the short term.

We did some ‘middle’, which was hilarious as he’s realised that technically I don’t specify which way he needs to face so he tries to get the treat in ‘middle’ facing the wrong way 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Then finished on some hand touches which I’ve been training him when I’ve been sitting around the rings at the agility shows.

So talented and I just love training my dogs!

Okay, confession time… I’ve used AI to make the poster 😂🙈

It feels slightly criminal after spending years making these adverts myself, but honestly… it’s a one off I promise 😂

Anyway, the actual workshop is very much me, not AI! 🤣

I’m opening up one of my usually clients-only sequencing workshops to a small group on Sunday 6th September at 10am.

🐾 ONE SPACE AVAILABLE! 🐾

I have ONE space available in my Monday 7–8pm Beginner Agility class, starting Monday 31st August!

This class is perfect for a dog & handler team who have a basic understanding of agility, such as some simple directionals.
You don’t need to have worked on equipment before, we can introduce and build these skills together at your own pace ❤️

✨ Only 4 dogs in the class.

✨ Field is halved, meaning 2 dogs working at once on skills.

✨ Plenty of support and individual coaching.

✨ Learn how to teach your dog their cues correctly.

✨ Learn how to walk a course and understand which verbal cues to use, when to use them and why.

✨ Build your confidence as a handler while developing your dog’s skills.

And most importantly… join a really fun and supportive agility community!

What a day! 🐾💪🏻

We were at the North East Dog Festival from 7:30am this morning, packed down at 4:45pm, and then straight back up to Rock for 6pm to set up for a full day of classes tomorrow!

The work never stops, but the hard work, dedication and long days are all part of how we’ve got to where we are today ❤️

These long, tiring days will all be worth it soon! 🫶🏻

And to top it all off, the grass has been cut and the field is looking BEAUTIFUL! 😍 There’s nothing quite like a fresh field reset!

Now for a well-earned rest and cuddles with my dogs.
