Shotts All Breeds Dog Training We are a Kennel Club registered dog training club based in Addiewell, West Lothian providing experienced training guidance to the surrounding area.

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out our page. We hold a range of classes on either a Monday or Thursday evening at Addiewell Community Centre. By coming to our classes you and your dog will benefit from the experience of our trainers, who have been involved in the dog obedience community for a number of years. Your dog will be socialised with a variety of other dogs, young and old.

Drum Roll Please………… They’ve done the double! 🏆🐾

Jenny and Brodie only went and won Pre-Beginners again today at Lanarkshire Dog Training Club’s Show!

Two days, two wins – just incredible! 🌟

And as if that wasn’t enough, Brodie also secured a fantastic 3rd place in Beginners, rounding off an absolutely amazing weekend for this brilliant team.

We’re all so delighted and incredibly proud of you both – what an achievement! 💙👏

At Shotts All Breeds, many of our obedience class members also shine in the breed show ring ✨

This weekend, Lynda and her two dogs, Yogi and Ruaraidh, competed at both the West Lothian Canine Society show and the Kirkintilloch & Lenzie and District Canine Society show — and what a fantastic weekend they had!

🐾 Ruaraidh (Peregos Lone Ranger) took Best of Breed AVNSC at both shows
🐾 Yogi (Moadileas Hen Broon) placed 1st in Open — twice, standing alone in both classes and still performing beautifully

We are absolutely chuffed for you all and over the moon with your success this weekend. Huge congratulations, Lynda, Yogi and Ruaraidh — well deserved! 🎉🐶

✨ What a fantastic day for Shotts All Breeds Dog Training Club at the Scottish Border Collie Club Obedience Show! ✨

Huge congratulations to Jennie and Brodie for taking 🥇 1st place in Pre Beginners — an incredible achievement and a true reflection of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork they’ve put in. So well deserved, we’re absolutely delighted for you both! 👏🐾

And a massive well done to Sandra and Snoop, competing in their very first Pre Beginners round and smashing it with 🥉 3rd place after a run-off for second! What an amazing debut in the obedience ring — this is just the beginning for this brilliant partnership. 🌟

We’re so proud of both teams — the future is looking very bright! 💙🐶

Massive congratulations to Parker, who attends our training classes, for taking 1st place in his class at the Hound Association of Scotland Championship Show held at the SEC! 🏆

This fantastic win also means Parker has qualified for Crufts 2027 – an incredible achievement!

Huge congratulations to Loretta and Baxter on an amazing achievement at Leven Dog Club show – the first Scottish Obedience show of 2026! 🏵️🐾

Taking 1st place in Beginners is a fantastic result, and we’re all so proud of you both 👏

Well done also to Margaret for securing a brilliant 2nd place, and to Loretta’s other dog Harley for earning an impressive 9th place in a strong class!

Thank you to all our members, dogs and supporters for another great year at the club.
We wish you and your dogs a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year filled with wagging tails and training success.

📅 Training restarts on Monday 12th January 2026.
We will check availability in our classes in the New Year and update everyone then.
