✨🐾 And just like that, it’s the final weekend of the Scottish obedience season 2025! 🐾✨

This weekend marked the grand finale with Kilmarnock DTC on Saturday and East Kilbride DTC on Sunday – and Team Shotts smashed it as always! 💪🎉

🔹 Saturday – Kilmarnock DTC
Even with two of our members judging and two stewarding, that didn’t stop the rosettes rolling in… 🏅

🐕 Jenny & Brodie – 🥈 2nd in Pre-Beginners
🐕 Jenny & Elvis – 🏅 8th in Pre-Beginners

A double success for Jenny and her two golden stars 🌟🐾

🔹 Sunday – East Kilbride DTC
The momentum kept going…

🐕 Glenn & Ginny – 4th in Beginners 👏
🐕 Jenny & Brodie – 6th in Beginners 🎉

But the biggest cheer of the day (and maybe the whole season)… 🥁

🐕💖 Myra & Candy – 1st in Novice… with a PERFECT FULL MARKS ROUND!! 🌟🏆
Not just a win, but a history-making one – their second Novice win, moving them up to A only! Absolutely incredible. We are bursting with pride for this dream team. 💙

What a weekend it was for the Shotts team at Prestwick DTC (Saturday) and Knightswood DTC (Sunday) – sunshine, rain, and a showering of rosettes! ☀️☔🐶

Saturday brought the heat – literally! With unusually warm Scottish sunshine, both dogs and handlers worked hard in testing conditions. But that didn’t stop the wins rolling in:

We want to say congratulations to our club members who won places at today’s show;

A MASSIVE well done to Margaret and Ryder, who won 1st Place in Beginners!! 🎉🎉

Also, another big shout out to Betty and Berty the Dachshund, who won 2nd Place in Beginners, and 5th in Pre-Beginners!! Well done you two! 🎉🎉

And another amazing well done to Jenny and Brodie who won their first ever rosette in today’s Pre-Beginners, taking 9th place. Fantastic result and we are so happy for you both. 🎉🎉

To our judges and stewards—thank you for your time, expertise, and fairness throughout the day. And a very special thanks to our amazing team of helpers who set up, packed down, provided lots of laughs and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Huge congratulations to all the winners and competitors in each class. The standard was fantastic, and it was a real joy to watch such talented and dedicated teams in the ring.
