My dog has been LOVING this snow ❄️!! However many dogs prefer to keep their paws warm and dry. One of the joys of being a holistic vet is recognising that all my patients are different- and treating them individually rather than one size fits all. This means each animal has a unique and tailored approach.

☀️ Hot weather = hot pavements!

Avoid walking your dog in the hottest parts of the day, and do the 5-sec before stepping out to make sure the pavement is cool enough.

: Put your palm flat on the tarmac for five seconds, and if it feels too hot for you, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws 🐾
