Why is it so important to start grooming early? ✂️🐶

Long-haired breeds need frequent visits to the grooming salon throughout their lives. That’s why it’s essential for puppies to learn from an early age that grooming is a safe, calm, and positive experience. Our goal is not only beautiful coats, but also confident dogs who trust the groomer and feel comfortable during every appointment. ❤️

For example, Poodles usually experience their very first trim at the breeder’s around 4–5 weeks of age. From then on, they return for grooming every 2–4 weeks for the rest of their lives. Grooming is not something these dogs can avoid — it becomes a natural part of their routine.

When puppies are introduced properly and patiently, they grow up relaxed and cooperative. But if they are not socialized to grooming in time, the salon can become stressful and overwhelming both for the dog and for the professional handling them.

In this video you can see puppy Aron preparing for his very first dog show — and he almost slept through the entire grooming session while standing on the table. 🥹❤️
