The Magic of Boxes for Cats 📦
All cats, no matter their size, wild or domesticated, have a thing for boxes. 🐈
The science behind it? Cats like it hot, and boxes provide insulation, which can preserve body heat. Research says hiding in boxes reduces feline stress, as well. 😸

Myth: All Dogs Know How to Swim 🐕🌊
Swimming can provide excellent exercise and mental stimulation for dogs, but contrary to what most people believe, not all dogs are strong swimmers and some may not enjoy this summer activity.
If you’re planning to take your dog swimming for the first time, the first step you should take is to make sure it’s something they want to do. If they show interest in the activity, the next step is keeping them safe.

Summertime Tips for Cat Parents 🌞 😸
1. Keep your cat indoors as temperatures climb.
2. Provide a constant supply of pure, fresh water.
3. Let them do some serious napping at cool spots around the house.
4. Help them with grooming, if needed.
5. Offer them a gentle breeze, in the form of a fan.

To shave or not shave? That is the question.
Do you know the difference between fur and hair? Hair continuously grows until it is either cut or breaks naturally. Fur on the other hand, grows to a genetically predetermined length and stops.
One common misconception is that fur bearing dogs need to be shaved to avoid overheating...nothing could be farther from the truth! Dogs cannot “perspire” to cool themselves down, they thermo-regulate their body temperature. This means that the undercoat of a fur bearing dog actually holds cool air near the skin. Shaving the coat actually makes the pet hotter and exposes them to other risks!
