Our son, Zachary, is graduating from Army boot camp, and we will be attending his ceremony to celebrate this milestone. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.

Today we received the heartbreaking news that Pablo, one of our beloved K9 guests, has crossed the rainbow bridge. Every time he visited, we knew he had arrived the moment he turned into our driveway — his joyful bark echoing all the way to the kennel, announcing that he was ready to play with his friends. It was his signature greeting, full of personality and excitement, and it always made us smile.

Pablo brought so much love and happiness into our days. He will be deeply missed by all of us… and especially by his best friend, Pitou. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Run free, sweet boy. 🌈🐾

🎪🐾 South Mountain Fair – Children’s Pet Show!
The South Mountain Fair will be hosting a Children’s Pet Show Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 9:00 am, and it’s going to be a fun, adorable event for all the young animal lovers in the community!

There will be 7 categories, and we’re excited to share that Barking Lot Kennels is donating 7 gifts — one for each category. We’re proud to support the kids, their pets, and this wonderful local tradition.

Bring your pets, bring your smiles, and come enjoy a great day at the fair!
